Donald Trump threatened “Saturday Night Live” and other late-night shows with a federal investigation for poking fun of him, calling it in a Sunday tweet, “one sided [sic] media coverage.”

“It’s truly incredible that shows like Saturday Night Live, not funny/no talent, can spend all of their time knocking the same person (me), over & over, without so much of a mention of ‘the other side.’ Like an advertisement without consequences. Same with Late Night Shows,” the POTUS wrote.

He's made America the laughing stock of the world... and it will take us decades to build back the respect and regard for dignity as American's that he has damaged.

The world community is looking down on us, for even allowing this insanity to go on this long. They see us as passive and weak to even allow this vile menace to society to continue occupying the seat of the Presidency. They watch this vile man, attack the world respected American Justice system... and they are appareled that we allow that. They see Right Wing Judges let the criminals who engaged in vile greed driven malice upon and against America, to walk with a few months in jail. They watch us make deals with known traitors and treasonous civic and civil disruption's within this mad house administration of musical chairs, with one type of criminal after the others. While each come with their own brand of white nationalist madness, and plutocratic agenda... and they think American people are suppose to just accept it because and egotistical bigot in occupying the seat of our White House.

How can this nation continue to tolerate this, even the men who in recent decades have lost friends and loved ones while fighting for this nation, have to be insulted daily, by a imbecilic bigot occupying the seat of the Presidency, doing damage from within the White House, that is more damaging to American than an attack by outside forces. Not to mention, the interlinks between his criminal gang and Russian and any other nations corrupt money spinning types.... while pandering to Putin, because now Putin is overjoyed, that he has an Imbecile in the White House doing his dirty work of creating havoc and dissension in America and American Governance.

The only benefit Trump has served, is to bring out of the closet and from behind their system of covert acts, the exposure of the white nationalist and the ignorance they have long promoted. It was as it is, necessary in the steps that bring the continuing downfall of white nationalism....
So...finally after Centuries and Decades of such vile madness making by the agenda of White Nationalist, NOW its exposed and those who support it are exposed... ...
THEREFORE..... America can move back to rebuild based on the principles of Democracy.... and proceed with "The downfall of white nationalist madness!!!!"

This is not Trump's first tweet where he is all upset with SNL, nor is it the first time he has hinted at some sort of government response.

Trump's normal use of Twitter and blustering aside for just a moment, there is a concern about weaponizing government going against opposition and SNL has been mocking Presidents (and government leaders in general, domestic and foreign) for decades now. If SNL has kicked it up a notch simply because Trump is such an easy target then so be it.

Our issue is those that support going after SNL because of support for any one politician they happen to go after.
 
I dont get it. Why does Trump keep watching SNL if the show upsets him so much?
 
We know now who they are (The Right Wing and Conservative supporters and promoters of white nationalism and its Plutocratic Madness), we know without doubt, what their character make up is and how they present themselves, as they are today... easily and readily identifiable, no matter where one goes across this nation, 'they can never hide again".
Other than achieving that... he has been a cycle of evil... He does not even know, this exposure was and is necessary for the sake of Democracy... He thinks he's winning in his promotion of white nationalism, and he has shown he'd destroy every element of American Governance and Civil Process... in the aim to try and recreate the early 20th Century version of white nationalist ignorance and vile.

But, truth is.. it has brought the exposure that was long overdue.. of these types that have damaged this nation repeatedly for centuries and decades...

Great that SNL depicts it in and of the insidiousness that everyone can see (except his cult members).... it great that Late Night TV does not ignore the insane and imbecilic acts and conduct of the "Ring Leader Bigot of the White Nationalist collective of Greed Monsters, Race Bias and Ethnicity Bias Bigots and their worship of bigotry and obsession with money as their God.. which they will do anything to seek, pursue and acquire.

The people of today... are more openly aware than ever before in society of the damages this mad and vile system of white nationalism has been and is, and the damages it has done to the nation for generations and decades.

This pursuit of Plutocratic Agenda, with an aim of white skin monarchical madness... is on full exposure... and technology of today, is allowing more and more people to uncover the madness and bring the truth that the system of tainted history written by white nationalist... is being exposed of and for their aims and long cycles of historical acts of distorting even the system of education and for their maligned aims to try and hide the "real truths".....
 
The cold open they did a couple of weeks ago on the Michael Cohen appearance before the House Committee was excellent. Perhaps it worked so well was the noted absence of Alec Baldwin. I imagine its difficult to do a caricature of someone who is a walking, talking joke as a person.

And of course, Trump supporters will rush to defend this blatantly malevolent act, acting as if it's totally acceptable for the President to do this.

God, imagine how badly they would've reacted had Obama said something similar about Fox News.
 
What’s amazing about all this is how much TV Donald Trump watches.

If he spent half as much time talking with people at the Pentagon or CIA, we might have an idea of what we’re doing in the world as a country.

Trump was completely unhinged this weekend with his tweets. Especially about John McCain. Shame on the republicans for saying nothing. Trump is totally unfit to hold the office of the presidency. He is a disgrace to the title of president.

I personally think he should ignore these hacks in the late night, and comedy relm, and just blow them off as clowns....But, this is a snotty little child attitude that liberals have...They know it gets under his skin, so they will continue to poke.....

It's a side show, and meaningless...
 
Trump, one of the biggest babies to ever hold the office and his sycophants defence of what he said is as pathetic as the original statement.

Like I said in the other thread, they should devote an entire show to him. Put him in every skit. Even bring back some classic skits. They could have major fun with this.

Because he is the President of the US and such a position means that he should not even be contemplating such an act against a media outlet simply for mocking him. There is no evidence of illegal activity. Not giving the other side "equal" time or attention (whether good or bad, negative or positive) is not illegal. It would in fact violate a huge constitutional principle in this country for the President of the US to actually open or encourage such an investigation to be opened for the reason that he is upset about them.

So their making fun of him is childish, but his reaction is ... what exactly? Because basically what is being said is that his reaction to this is far more childish, especially given his position, than their making fun of him. Particularly since that is their job and they do it to far more people than just him.

It's a serious issue. Perhaps he should declare a national emergency to investigate them. Or maybe march HIS military and HIS bikers and HIS cops down there to threaten them to stop.

You could say that about his FOX News obsession as well. I guess that there is a certain type of person that enjoys being angry all of the time. It's strange to arrive to the point where the POTUS is threatening comedy shows for making fun of him. It's even stranger that it just feels normal.
