Trump on white nationalism: Not a rising threat

Today "Conservative" is about maintaining the principles of US Constitution and Bill of Rights. Pro Slave Confederates hated the US Constitution just like the Left does today. obama charter of negative liberties - Bing video

About 70 years ago The Democrat party realized that Traditional Racism was no longer a winning political strategy. So, they started exploiting racism from the exact opposite direction. Replacing Traditional Racism with Racial Identity Politics and Replacing the KKK (a Democrat invention) with Race bating poverty pimps like Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson.

In many ways Racial Identity Politics has hurt and divided America a lot more than Traditional Racism.

It's not like the Lithuanians were the first people in human history to say 'probably shouldn't have slaves or be them'.

That's not how history works. It's why people think you're full of ****. Cause you're so simple minded you believe freedom for everyone is something that was only achieved to an arbitrary level at some point of European history. Freedom from slavery is not something people with a country suddenly think of you sophomoric pseudo-intellectual asshole.

I have looked at this hard.

There were two different Chinese Emperors at about 2500 and 2000 years ago who outlawed slavery. Each time those laws were highly ignored and quickly ended upon the end of each Emperors reign.

Slavery was a common part of human history, every couture had it and most cultures had restrictions, usually based on ethnic identity and religion. But it was not until Lithuania in 1760s and the rest of Europe around 1800 that it started being 100% outlawed.

I'll go first. Liberals fought in the streets and died for civil rights, and they were fighting and being killed by conservatives. Think of attack dogs and fire hoses and who was holding the hose and the leash and who were on the business end, liberals or conservatives.

This is an ahistorical take.

Back in the 60's and 70's some of the Left in America were out and out communists. Google Black Panthers, Students for a Democratic Society, and The Weathermen.
