Many Dead in New Zealand Mosque Shooting

Blah blah. People need to take personal responsibility for their own actions.

Did Trump inspire the ball field shooter, the antifa bike lock attacker, Maxine whipping up the public mobs to harrass conservatives eating dinner, etc? Or is that "different"?

Hi!
Welcome to DP :)
I'm liking what you have to say.

Trump was elected for saying the same things the nut who shot up that Mosque wrote. So, I am not surprised.

Overlay the manifesto with the transcript of a Trump rally, and you would be hard pressed to find a difference.

See? That's the same bull**** yet again. I've never advocated banning guns. That's an extrapolation of your fantasy life. Stawp.

The data about massacres is easily available online, you could find it w/in seconds, and all statistics indicate that their banning of guns like that worked. There haven't been any such mass murders since they took action.

You're not stupid. You claim to be educated.

Act like it.

Could you explain your hostility here? I think it is stupid to deprive honest people of firearms in the hope that will stop someone who wants to commit mass murder. Laws like that are far more likely to disarm potential victims than people willing to throw their lives away to kill others. You claim to not support gun bans yet you are favorably talking about a gun ban.

Well, thanks. nice to find the place. I resent the left doing their very best to smear the other side with this nuts action.

When a Muslim commits terror and a Conservative says Muslims are terrorist the left goes nuts and calls them racist but that is EXACTLY what these hypocrites are doing in these following days, on the internet and MSM.

Seems you angry white men are in denial...Your guy is the terrorist in New Zealand

Stop right there at the "If." Take personal responsibility for your decision to acquire the firepower and slaughter innocent strangers in a house of worship. Don't blame anybody else for the choice that you alone made--not mommie and daddy, not your lousy childhood, not your boss, not the neighbor who mean-mugs you.

or not your president. ;)

I know. Since Trump was elected they can't seem to stop misplacing the blame.

Of course the killer is to blame. But we all know that no decision is made in a vacuum. I don't think you really believe this. Do you blame ISIS as a whole for the actions of a lone wolf suicide bomber? What about Michelle Carter who talked her boyfriend into suicide? You know responsibility is shared among all who were involved, including those who inspired it. Yes, the person who commits a horrible act bears the legal responsibility and deserves the lion's share of the blame. But those who inspire him to do so through irresponsible rhetoric and hatred ABSOLUTELY share in the responsibility for it and deserve to be called out for the role they played in the carnage. And those who refuse to take responsibility for their words are the worst kinds of cowards.

Do you even have a clue what sort of firearms this killer or killers used? There is NO LEGAL market for heroin in the USA and yet more people die each month from heroin overdoses in the USA, than are killed with criminals using semi auto rifles in two-three year period.

During 2017, over 15,000 people died from drug overdoses involving heroin in the United States, a rate of almost 5 deaths for every 100,000 Americans.

https://www.cdc.gov/drugoverdose/data/heroin.html

Heroin?.....What are you babbling about?.....The Terrorist used a weapon of War....Fortunately New Zealand doesn't have a bunch of NRA assholes holding their politicians hostage...Laws will change....Watch and see

I'm not trying to be hostile here. Believe me. I actually like guns! I have many of them. Pretty sure you and I see eye to eye on many things.

You oppose, as far as I have seen, ANY regulation of ownership/use of firearms. Period. And you have literally labeled me as a gun-grabber.

Banning such weapons actually, literally, worked in Tasmania. Period. They enacted a ban and....wait for it... they had one murder last year that did not involved a firearm.

I'm not for gun bans.

I'm for reason. And I'm not a Tasmanian.

The Tasmanians chose to make that their policy.

So. ****ing. Be. It.

How do YOU know what color that poster is?

Just stop.

Have you a clue what type of firearm he used? Before you babble on about a "weapon of war" don't you think you have to identify the firearm? Rather than making up a moronic claim?

Seems you angry white men are in denial...Your guy is the terrorist in New Zealand

Except I don't think I have seen anyone deny he is a terrorist. The only denial is that he is anyone's "guy", as 99.9% of people utterly condemn his actions.

How do you know that Color this poster is? Or do you just assume people who don't buy into your hateful bias towards whites, must also be white?

The videos showed them quite clearly...Why don't you show some respect for the victims instead babbling about what kind of gun it was.....

you praise a gun ban in preventing crime yet you are against gun bans?

I have posted at least 100 times on this board that regulations preventing dangerous or reckless use of firearms are perfectly legitimate.

Condemn???.....Sure....Seems there is a lot of "What About What About" being tossed around...Even that fool trump had to dog whistle his White Nationalist tough guys, with a weak assed response...Try again...you aren't fooling anybody

This is coming from a guy who has spewed lie after lie after lie, while trying to use the deaths of innocents to advance his hate filled attacks on whites, gun ownership and Trump?

Spare me the sanctimonious hypocrisy

I have a link to the full manifesto that can clear up lots of this blame game. Anyone know if it has been posted here? Anyone think i should post it in a seperate thread?

Without any facetiousness, my first two thoughts were: (1) Wait, New Zealand?? And (2) where the Hell did someone get a gun in New Zealand to commit a mass-shooting with?

New Zealand has some fairly stringent gun laws. It is obvious that those gun laws did not stop this deranged barbarian from mass murder. Gun laws never eliminate threats of gun violence, unless the disarming of the populace is mandated and enforced by a brutal regime supported by heavily armed loyal regime soldiers.

You're presumably an adult, right? What if someone told you to jump off a cliff? Whose fault would it be? You're seriously going to blame the person who inspired you to jump should you live and sustain crippling injuries?

It is obvious you have not read the shooters manifesto and just seek to smear the right with this. Had you read it, you would realize your error. Nice assumptions, angry black guy.

The hell?

Their gun ban worked. All statisical data confirms that. There is simply no question about this.

Our situation is not so easy here, in this country,

They are not comparable. If you want to compare actual data, I'm game.
