I don’t really have many words this morning and that’s probably for the best as they’re pretty meaningless next to such a heinous act.

I mean New Zealand? New Zealand of all places?

But then again, a disturbed, cowardly and ****ed up individual who is capable of looking down the barrel of a gun and shooting innocent men, women and children isn’t confined by geographical boundary.

Your thinking is absurd.

Pulling a trigger is easy-peasy. Stabbing someone is not on the same level. You can use the propaganda you've been fed all your life but it does not mean it's right. Gun legislation leads to less gun violence -- look at all the countries who have successfully done so. That is all you need to know to make a proper judgement.

Because when I was in Iraq I didn't walk around shooting unarmed citizens whilst live streaming it.

You seem to have forgotten Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, ... . Why? How many westerners "looking down the barrel of a gun and shooting innocent men, women and children " happened in those countries?

There are lots of US military videos of just that kind of thing. But regardless the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan were illegal invasions based on US/UK lies about Muslims.

This will all be sorted out soon by the now sitting US federal grand jury, southern district of New York specifically convened to investigate the controlled demolitions of WTCs 1, 2 & 7.

They are now at the stage of names of possible perpetrators being given to the grand jury.

As everyone knows, the WTC buildings were never actually attacked, and there was no demolition of them.

They're all still standing.

It's because you don't read that you always get things so wrong. The snips I quoted alone demonstrate that he's about as far from a libertarian as you can get.

Horrific, Higgins. Yes, it has hit hard, our bonds are strong. There has been more confirmed fatalities than our own Port Arthur massacre (which was now almost 23 years ago.) How do you even begin to recover from something so senseless. So many lives changed forever.

Much like any other heinous act, I'll just continue to reject any attempt to use this tragedy to create hatred and division and add to the hurt and distress so many are feeling.

I believe that the point was simply that criminals and terrorists do not obey laws. Taking guns (or gun rights) away form the law abiding reduces those capable of effectively intervening to government agents.

and knowing NZ like I do all this will do is strengthen the bond between the locals and the Muslim population.
