How dare I point out the facts behind this terrorist attack.

Tarrant said he feels no remorse for the attack. “I only wish I could have killed more invaders, and more traitors as well.” He also said there “was a racial component to the attack” and described it as “anti-immigration” and “an attack in the name of diversity”.

He also said he will plead not guilty if he survives and goes to trial.

Posting on an 8chan forum, a user who identified himself as Tarrant announced he would carry out the attack.

“I will carry out and attack against the invaders, and will even live stream the attack via facebook,” he wrote, with a link to his Facebook page. “If I don’t survive the attack, goodbye, godbless and I will see you all in Valhalla!”

Many anonymous users responded praising him for the attack, with comments like “Godspeed” and “that video is so goddamn good”.

Well, they had many examples of how to behave from islamist terrorists. Not an excuse, but it isn't one sided. No they are not with me. Murderers kill because they enjoy killing, any excuse will do. For a change, try thinking about why some have a need to kill, rather than about the excuses they use. This kind of violence and death dealing has gone on for eons. Whether with tools like stone clubs or guns, it really doesn't matter what the excuse is or what the weapons used were selected. Nor even the numbers of dead and wounded. Those are secondary distractions from the real underlying reasons for mass murders of any selected targets. What in mankind causes this death and destruction? When any of us can answer that question, maybe, and only maybe we can prevent these tragedies. Your snide opinions are no solution. I wasn't asking anyone for approval of my opinions, you haven't garnered any respect for your opinion. I'm not preaching hate, but you are.

This isn't a perfect world, you aren't making it any better. Perhaps you should be the one who learns how to control careless and thoughtless urges?

He had specific ideas, such as White Genocide and that Muslims were invaders to their country. The Right would do well to repudiate such ideas and get the fascists out their coalitions and say they are not welcome.

Yes, we should have just regarded 9/11 as a flaw in humanity and not responded to the actual organizations and ideas which planned and executed the attack. Its sad conservatives behave this way everytime there is a right wing terrorist attack, you'll find they never have such grace when it comes to Islamic terrorism. And here is me thinking that I clearly said that I do NOT - make that NOT - accept that the terrorist is mentally ill. A personality disorder isn't a mental illness and is not regarded as such in any legal system that I know of.

As you are determined to make this awful act of terrorism political I must point out that 'genocide' and 'out breeding' are very different. The former requires murder - ask the Armenians and the Jews - while the latter does not.

It is political, thats what terrorism is about. And that's the appeal of the ideology, the mere presence of brown people, particularly Muslims proves to these people that the white man's days are numbered. There is no genocide, the only violence will come from those who sincerely take these lies to heart.

In the English and Scottish judicial systems personality disorders are not accepted as mental illnesses; not at trials nor in determining whether a convicted offender may be kept in prison. I would be interested to know whether a similar situation prevails in the USA.

As is so often the case in psychology and psychiatry individual professionals hold disparate opinions.
