Sanitizing this incident just hides the brutality of it. Show everything. Spread it far and wide. Let people see the results of evil and not being prepared to stand against it. Let them know their enemy.
The problem with that is giving it attention is what these mass-murderers want. Fame and notoriety is the primary motivator of these mass-murderers. They want their names splashed across every headline. They want their work to be displayed. They are the ultimate narcissistic parasites. And doing so may very well increase the likelihood of copycat killers. If we make a concerted effort not to give them what they want, we may be able to lower the incident rates of such horrible violent acts in the future.
