I heard photos have been posted on social media. I'm glad you wrote to them to let them know how you feel. There are so many sick people out there, nobody needs to get them motivated to do the same thing here. People would pay to see those photos or videos, that's how sick some people are. Copycats might want to do it even 'worse' to get that kind of attention.

Well white supremacy and strong anti-immigration views are generally considered a part of far-right ideology.

It is somewhat ridiculous to blame political ideology. Anyone that is shooting up people like Rambo has serious mental issues.

He might very well be a far right extremist.
What difference will it make?
He's nuts, and crazy people like this deserve no sympathy.
But let's hear all the usual suspects exploit those who aren't even cold yet for their own agenda.

That's why this is so remarkable. Radical Muslims hack Christians to death in Nigeria or bomb churches in Egypt and the world barely takes notice because it happens so frequently that it's almost normal.

I agree. There are two forms of terrorism that one generally finds widespread across the world: Far-right white supremacist terrorism, and Sunni Islamic-revanchist terrorism. Both seem to attract violently antisocial young men in their late teens to mid-thirties through social media sites who seem quite obsessed with video games, who hate minorities, who despise women (while strongly desiring them), and are told that they are part of a group that is being victimized by society, either because of their being straight white men or belonging to the One True Faith. I do not know how we can truly stop it, and find ways to prevent multiple young hate-filled toxic losers from finding one another on the internet and metastasizing into full-blown terror cells, or engaging in "Lone wolf" attacks.

According to TVNZ, attacks at two mosques by multiple shooters with support (in an ironically named town, Christchurch), one suspect arrested, a known white supremest, 9 dead including children, multiple wounded.

I despise islam, but find this type of violence against the unsuspecting at prayer intolerable and unacceptable.

The monster wanted a high count so he went back and re-shot them a couple of times.
 
This is sick. Also, New Zealand has pretty strong gun control laws. Just saying that, no matter how strict a government is on guns, some people are still going to obtain them.

I was not willing make a comment yet before knowing all the details, but since you (and others) bring the issue of politics, I say that the best way to honor the victims of this attack is by appealing to partisan hacks to tone down their Islamophobia instead of ignoring it. I think many of the victims would agree with such approach...

We do not know if this attack was motivated by Islamophobia. I am certainly not going to blame Foxnews for this.
