Trump suggests that it could get 'very bad' if military, police, biker supporters play 'tough'

Size has nothing to do with it. Canada has better healthcare, better education, less hatred, less racism, less division, less violence, more livable cities, etc.

The European Union is the same, and together they are the size of the USA.

Among Western nations, the USA has become a "****hole" country. Isn't it interesting how Trump's projection is always so spot on...about himself and his interests?

Absolutely false....Canada has 35 million people.....spaced over the same land mass approximately....US has 330 million.....in concentrated areas...

Better healthcare? Not a chance on god's green earth is it better care, I've experienced both. Less hatred? Only due to less people, less racism? Again, less people, less violence, again, less people, move livable cities? Not a chance.

Then move to Canada and take advantage of your perception. Glad you like this country so much. Grass is always greener on the other side UNTIL YOU GET THERE

@JustHanging is correct. We are the **** hole under Trump (of developed western countries). This is pretty well established.

LOL absolute nonsense, but hey, you are free to leave....

LOL absolute nonsense,

not to a person of fact and logic.

but hey, you are free to leave....

This is my country. I will work to ride my country of the problems that make it a **** hole today.

The biggest problem are the "real Americans." The non productive, high school drop out, drugged up Trump supporter.

Of course............... Canada is like 90% white.

What a joke.

"We're bigger, so you can't compare." What a terrible excuse. LOL. I notice you leave out the European Union. I wonder why?

For healthcare, go here.

Those numbers are from 2000, but Canada has been ahead of the USA in healthcare since I can remember. Unfortunately many Americans are gullible fools, well according to Donald Trump anyways. Do you think Trump is correct?

You are so wrong about....everything. Let's face it, among Western nations, the USA is, in Trump's words, a "****hole". Did I mention Canada has a far better education system than the USA as well? That would certainly explain the results of our little debate, don't you think?

And yet, socialism is FOR providing that drop out a guaranteed income....why?

You don't see how density of the population would make for more violence? More people to begin with? Seriously?

I see common sense is far from common...

As far as healthcare, like I said, I've experience both sides, and US Healthcare system is heads and tails above the Canadian in standard terms of care....the issue is, you think the Canadian system is free.....and it's not.

Did you literally just provide a link to prove more livable cities, that had more cities in the US than in Canada?

You did, 11 cities on the US list, vs 4 on the Canadian side, and of that 4, Toronto is listed, absolutely brutal city to live in.

Of course............... Canada is like 90% white.

What a joke.

You're not going full racist are you? Because based on this statement, it looks like you're going full racist.

And yet, socialism is FOR providing that drop out a guaranteed income....why?

Why are you asking me?

I would not give any hillbilly a damned thing.

Did you literally just provide a link to prove more livable cities, that had more cities in the US than in Canada?

Dang, you're just determined to prove how bad the American education system is, aren't you?

Our cities are more livable. That's why three of our largest are ranked 3, 6, and 7 overall in the world.

Then move to Canada and take advantage of your perception.

I'm already there. I often watch American news, and when I see the racism, the hatred, the lack of caring about neighbours, I realize how lucky I was to be born in a great country like Canada.

Glad you like this country so much. Grass is always greener on the other side UNTIL YOU GET THERE

I'm in Canada. The grass is way greener here. Christ, I wouldn't even classify your grass as green, it's becoming more of a dustbowl with all the racism and hatred Trump is inciting in his base.

If your cities are More livable,

Why are there ony four? Do you only have four cities? And one of those, Toronto, is an absolute **** show, the fact that it made it on the list, let alone the top 10, tells me that the person who made the list, has never been to Toronto, let alone lived there for any length of time.

And you say the American education system is bad, yet, you can't comprehend why having 4 cities is LESS than having 11 cities?

Edmonton, Winnipeg,Halifax, Saskatoon, they didn't make the list....... are they not livable, or just not as livable as the ELEVEN cities that made the list?

I take it then you don't follow Canadian news.....Quebec mosque shooting, thwarted Toronto terrorist attacks, the scandal of Trudeau interfering etc,

You really have no idea how good the US health care system is because you've never experienced it, all you know about it, is what you have been told to think about it.....that's the difference between you and I, I've experienced BOTH countries....they are EXACTLY the same, only difference really, is the way the currency looks.

Awesome, enjoy your stay and thanks for showing true America patriotism of a radical leftists. You now have no reason and no credibility in posting in this forum. Trump's base are true Americans, patriotic and understanding of personal responsibility, not the entitlement "you owe" me crowd that you are part of. Enjoy your new country and I assure you that you aren't missed here

LOL absolute nonsense, but hey, you are free to leave....

I've provided reputable sources as evidence. You have provided...nothing. Didn't they teach you how to cite a reputable source? Just more evidence that Canada has a better education system, our children learn to do that in grade 6.

You provided op-ed pieces and a fluff travel piece,

And you still don't understand how 11 is more than 4.

If your cities are More livable,

We have three cities in the top 10, and we don't even have very many cities that would be big enough to qualify. Your math skills are failing you.

You're continually exposing just how poor the American education system is. Think about what you're saying here, it honestly makes no sense. EDIT: See post #521 for an explanation.

Again, provide a reputable source showing how American cities are better.

And you say the American education system is bad, yet, you can't comprehend why having 4 cities is LESS than having 11 cities?

Are you really unable to comprehend that Canada doesn't have very many big cities, but of the ones we do have, three made the top ten?

Edmonton, Winnipeg,Halifax, Saskatoon, they didn't make the list....... are they not livable, or just not as livable as the ELEVEN cities that made the list?

LOL, three of the top ten most livable cities in the world are in Canada. And we have few cities that are even big enough to qualify.

You do understand that Vancouver, Toronto, and Calgary are more livable than any American cities right?

Oh wait, I see the problem. You couldn't do the math, using the fact that Canada has only 1/10th the population of the USA, and so has roughly 1/10th the number of big cities. And your lack of math skills means you don't know that if everything was equal, the USA would have roughly ten times as many cities in the top 50 as Canada. So my bad for expecting you to have basic math skills, and not explaining this to you earlier so you wouldn't be so confused.

Anyways, you're only embarrassing yourself, and proving my point. A Canadian grade 6 student could show you how flawed your reasoning is. Do you mind me asking, what grade did you make it to? I would like to get an idea of grade equivalence between our two countries.

Yet, you are arguing against democracy, in favor of socialism.....

Ironic.

Socialism is an economic system. Democracy is a government system. There is no contradiction between them. However, I do believe that the record of Communism demonstrates that a dictatorship is an inappropriate government for a socialist economy. The Bolshevik takeover in Russia was not what Karl Marx predicted when he advocated a revolution. Marx envisioned the vast majority of a capitalist country overthrowing a small plutocracy. The Bolshevik takeover in Russia was a coup by a well armed, well organized minority of fanatics. It was also terrible for the democratic left, especially in the United States.

Honest question, because I don't understand the concept of, if I can't do it myself, I deserve for it to be handed to me.

Is that not the base of the "new deal" you are arguing for, free college, guaranteed income etc, is that not stating, don't worry about having to work, we will give it to you anyways, if I am wrong there, tell me where.

People work in countries with social democratic economies. Social democracy is the ideal of the left in the United States, not Venezuela, and certainly not Communism.

And yet, when I brought up that the US has more people so there will be more incidents of racism, violence etc, you scoffed at using size and an excuse....and yet...you are doing it here...

Well..."we dont have very many cities, so for us to have 3 makes us fabulous" Interesting logic there, so size matters, but only in one way.

I'm not saying they don't work.....

I am asking...what about the people that choose not to work....what happens to them, in your world?
