You base this on what, wishful thinking? Most of the country DOESN'T support Individual-1 on this.

Poll: Majority still opposes Trump emergency declaration

In the new poll, 52 percent of voters are opposed to the declaration, up 1 percentage point from last month

I was surprised about Tillis too, given what he said. I wonder what changed his mind.

I read yesterday that Trump called Lee to try to sway him. It obviously didn't work.

Yes because nothing screams "win" more than 12 members of your own party saying "You can't declare a national emergency that doesn't exist because you promised your supporters a wall that you said Mexico would pay for".

Keep polling up and down Haight-Ashbury and Castro. It's working so well for you.

PS Glad to to see that a recent Senate vote totals 100 votes, been a while since I remember seeing the full Senate chime in.
Good to know that there's at least 12 out of 51 Republicans that still have their souls and aren't willing to forego their Congressional obligation for a man that is power thirsty and will take every bit of power away from Congress if given half a chance.

You're the one who made the claim that the "majority of the country" supports Trump on the emergency declaration. If you're rejecting polls, then what is the basis for your claim?

So what did you base your assertion on, if not a poll? Anything?

So then it's incumbent upon you to prove your claim that the majority of the country supported Trump's declaration of a fake emergency for a wall he promised you that Mexico would pay for. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm breathlessly awaiting your proof that isn't based on polls.

There were not enough areas to string concertina wire, so the ended up restringing the same length of fence...SIX TIMES. Yeah, that's a thoughtful use of resources.
This bill passed in the House of Representatives first, in February. Bills always start in the House before moving into the Senate for a final vote. The Democratic House majority passed it easily.
