We need to calm the rhetoric down to boring old Canadian politics - the kind that actually gets stuff done without ripping the country in half. We need to compromise. We need to understand that younger generations are taking over, and deciding where this country will go. If that means building a more compassionate, tolerant, anti-asshole societal philosophy, well...so be it. You guys had your chance, it wasn't great, it wasn't terrible, and I'm sure the same thing will be said about my generation, and every generation after me - which is fine, so long as they also say we were uniquely Canadian, which was never a fixed position, but rather an approach.

We may need a change, but we do not need a regression, nor do we need to plagiarize the catastrophes of other nations. We're more than capable of creating our own. ;) I'll stand by Trudeau, girlie man socks and all, until a better option comes along. I don't see one yet, my friend.

And for the record, Bieber might actually trump Trump for being the least desirable addition to Canadian society. Apparently Snoop Dogg wants to move up here now, though, thanks to legal pot...he can come. :lol:

Okay! I was talking about me. Personally, I do not care if one spreads the legs to get connections and rise to power or if he plays golf with powerful people or whatever. It is her personal life! As long as there is no corruption, I am fine with it.
Now, if you want to talk about it, you are obviously free to do so, but you will have to explain why the conservatives do not talk about Melania's spreading of legs...

This is a valid point, but if this is the metric of corruption then what is the difference in corruption between appointing your sexual partner in two state commissions and appointing your son in law (Kushner) as a senior advisor in the administration?
