These days I don't expect much from Trump either. How could he sign such a horrible bill designed specifically to destroy the country? His declaration of Emergency is not exactly encouraging in the face of all of the poison pills in the bill.

That pic is great- shows a slimy snake who has hooked his ass to Trump.

That said if his career ever ended and yes I see that as a decent possibility, he is a very wealthy man
 
I was watching a documentary on Roger Stone that, I think, was filmed before him and Manafort were in orange jumpsuits.

I didn't realize how far back the two go. The political dirty tricks they orchestrated and all the money they made doing it.

They have a long history of being pieces of ****. Going all the way back to Nixon. They worked as being "political terrorists" in a manner of speaking.

And they did it right under everybody's noses.

Sleep with the dogs and you gonna catch the fleas. I'm thinking Melania needs to buy her boo a fuzzy flea collar.

:lamo :lamo :lamo If this President was elected to office with the help of hostile foreign power and as a result is beholden to that hostile foreign power then this essentially makes him an agent of foreign power and his Presidency is an illegitimate one. Which by the way is a scenario that our founding fathers and drafters of the Constitution had envisioned as a very real possibility.

For a near 70 year old man 24 years is essentially a life sentence. And that recommendation is just for the previous 8 counts for which he was convicted and doesn't include any charges Manafort may be facing in this DC court.

That was the sentence from the court in VA and at almost 70 y/o that is a life sentence. His plea deal was voided with Mueller by the court in DC. Watch this space for his sentence in that case.
 
As I saw someone on Twitter say, Manafort is recommended for 20 years in jail...it makes you wonder how much time in prison federal prosecutors would seek for those they wanted Manafort to flip on....

Wouldn't be surprised if Trump ends up getting nailed for tax evasion as well.

According to the article: “Prosecutors stated that in obtaining the accounts, they found communications between Stone and WikiLeaks, which is only described as Organization 1, as well as Guccifer 2.0 which is the alias used by Russian intelligence to disseminate the documents.”

Ouch! If that is true, Stone is hosed.
