“I am wondering why you won’t answer questions on the Green New Deal?” Rodgers asked.

“I won’t answer questions to the Daily Caller, period! You’re trash,” Menendez responded.

“Why do you think we’re trash, sir?” the reporter followed.

“Don’t keep harassing me anymore or I’ll race to the Capitol Police,” the New Jersey Democrat threatened.

Rodgers told Fox News he had no prior interaction with Menendez and was working on a story that was to include the responses of Senate Democrats regarding the Green New Deal.

A few takes on this:

1. Menendez sure is a thin skinned prick. Nice police state tactics. He wouldn’t last 2-seconds in the shoes of Trump.

2. Leftists sure are bashful about the retarded Green New Deal. Why so Shy? Thanks Westchester Barista, your insane little scheme is doing wonders exposing the lunatic Left.

3. I hope we hear from the media coming out and defending this credentialed journalist.* Y’know, we heard a lot from the media and Leftists about 1st amendment rights not too long ago. This after Acosta broke with protocol... repeatedly.

It’s not like Acosta was denied his ability to question, he wasn’t. And CNN had 6 or 7 other credentialed journalists for WH Pressers who one might imagine, don’t behave like total morons.

*But, I wouldn’t bet on it from the hypocritical Left.

The Daily Caller is trash. And, comparing it to CNN is just proof that some people can't recognize trash when they see it.

These responses from Menendez are only going to make matters worse, especially when trying to deal with some elements of the Green New Deal that would be beneficial. It almost does not matter as the whole thing has already been through the political spin machine to the point of absurdity.
 
Is there any particualtr aspect of it that's a problem, other than it where the idea came from? It would be simply awful if America accidentally became a better place to live!
 
The green deal is a hot mess.... The roll out was terrible.
Menendez is probably in a bad mood after his federal trial.
Call a cop on a reporter for asking questions? Funny as hell!

It's the hypocrisy that is so disgusting about these people. They can dish it out but can't take it.

Have you guy's watched "Louder with Crowder" on Youtube? He will attempt to engage in conversation with liberal students at colleges. Most of these weasels won't even talk to him even though they showed up with their little racist signs. He is totally calm and very respectful to them but only rarely is anyone of them capable of defending their point of view. He basically leaves them speechless. This is why we need to raise the voter age to 30.

His response obviously illustrates the deep tensions on the Left with the Westchester Barista’s New Communist Manifesto.

Because the New Communist Manifesto is so absurd, so laughable, and most of the Democrat Primary field has endorsed it (ROTFLOL)... he had no idea how to respond to a simple question.

Trump refuses to answer a question from a CNN reporter, at a press conference, Cons applaud.

Menendez refuses to answer a question from a hack publication on the street, and Cons think he is trying to avoid the question.

I am no fan of CNN, as they are more infotainment, hyping up stories to increase ratings...but they generally stick to the facts, even though they amplify them.

Daily Caller, Gateway Pundit, Infowars and others of that ilk, are pretty much the National Enquirer without the celebrity gossip, and soft porn.

I read the article from the FOX News site....misleading headline, with a small chunk and quotes from what actually happen.

Then they list how social media is reacting. And it is generally FOX news watchers, so we basically see posts from Cons....much like this thread.

That is not reporting the news. That is creating news, promoting a particular viewpoint.

Maybe FOXNews should just link to this thread.....and then have Hannity and others chat up how people are reacting.

Sadly.....this methodology works.

I do not think that ratings measure trashiness - except maybe in a reverse sense. Thoughtful, calm, balanced media will probably always have lower audience number ratings that the strident and sensational.

However the most sensational media outlet today is probably CNN. This does not support your idea.
