That's one of the reasons I left philly thirty years ago and now in my little peaceful town in central florida I rarely hear of a local murder. It's another bye year.

I have only heard some scuttlebutt that a BBC cameraman was attacked at Trumps Reelection Rally in El Paso last night.

My initial reaction is skepticism, and a wait and see posture.

I haven't taken time to do any background on this accusation.

If it turns out to be a true attack on a media individual, perhaps flamed by the President's anti media rhetoric, it will truly be a sad, SAD statement on his campaign and his supporters!

We should be wise enough to know comparisons to such things, based on the history that exist. They showed video on Morning Joe today of the attack. Complete with the Trump fans screaming "CNN sucks" while it was happening. Idiots don't know the difference between BBC and CNN. And they sure are bloodthirsty people.

It's madness that Trump supporters think they are on the right side of history here.

Attacking the media both verbally and physically, propping up the rise of the far right, running down protesters, building walls and fraternizing with dictators like Putin/Kim whilst at the same time pushing away NATO allies.

If a BBC reporter was blindly attacked for no reason other than a Trump supporter being a total arsewipe and shoving him, well then he should be arrested for assault. No doubt the entire Left-wing media will rush to his defense, just a couple weeks after they viciously attacked Catholic teens (without doing their damn jobs and getting the full story) and helped in great part, usher forth a frenzy of death threats to children.
