Fact check: Trump claims a wall made El Paso safe. Data shows otherwise.

Well the only way it will be built is by a supposed “National Emergency” and if you cheer that, just wait until a Dem president declares a “National Emergency” on something you disagree with. You reap what you sow, so hope you enjoy getting something shoved down your throat you don’t like.

No that's not correct. He can use other funds allocated to him.

Speaking separately to "Fox News Sunday," Acting Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney said that an emergency declaration might not be required.

"There are other funds of money that are available to [Trump] through something called reprogramming, there is money he can get at and is legally allowed to spend," Mulvaney said, noting that some funds were available even without declaring an emergency. "And I think it needs to be said again and again this is going to be legal --- there are statutes on the book as to how any president can do this."

The Wall will be built whether thru Congress or by other means.

You're going to have to look for new voters elsewhere.

Will you leave if it isn't by the time trump leaves office?

No, I'm not a weenie liberal that goes clock tower when things don't go my way.

So if you end up being wrong, you'll just keep posting as if you were right? How about at the very least you post an I was wrong about the wall post?

That big beautiful wall that will keep out your future Democratic voters.

It's no longer big, beautiful, or a wall......and that's if it even gets built.

No, I am not like a liberal who can't man up when they're wrong.

But the Wall is going to be built so it's a moot point.

Trump should take a page from your book.

And yes, It is possible the sporadic fencing or barrier will get built. Just not "The Wall" he campaigned on. Congress won't allow it.

That's not correct. I've seen pictures of those metal slats and they are big, bold and beautiful.

Should keep out tons of illegal Democratic voters.

Those aren't walls. And they aren't as long or tall as he stated.

P.S.

TRUMP: “We’ve actually started a big, big portion of the wall today at a very important location, and it’s going to go up pretty quickly over the next nine months. That whole area will be finished. It’s fully funded ... and we’re going to have a lot of wall being built over the next period of time.”

THE FACTS: There’s less going on here than his words convey. Construction is getting started on merely 14 miles (23 kilometers) of extended barrier, approved by Congress about a year ago in an appropriation that also authorized money to renovate and strengthen some existing fencing. The extension will be in Texas’ Rio Grande Valley. That’s not a “big, big portion” of the grand project he promised in his campaign and countless times since — a wall that, combined with existing fencing and natural barriers, would seal the nearly 2,000-mile (3,200-kilomete) border with Mexico.

The Wall will be built and we don't care if it's concrete or metal slats. You're side seems to be the one hung up on that.

We just snicker and roll our eyes as your side thinks you've won because it's not concrete.

If it makes you feel better, we'll call it a fence.

Yes. Facts make me feel better. I'm glad you aren't getting "The Wall". Ever :)

Build...The...sporadic light fencing? Rofl.

It's nice to hear one of you liberals finally admit the Wall is being built.

More to come so sit back and enjoy.

1. I'm not liberal.

2. That's not what he promised, lol - "That’s not a “big, big portion” of the grand project he promised in his campaign and countless times since — a wall that, combined with existing fencing and natural barriers, would seal the nearly 2,000-mile (3,200-kilomete) border with Mexico." AKA Not The Wall.

As per the article he cited, 'merely 14 miles of extended barriers' is not Trump's 'wall'.

Perhaps you need to read your own post that details the start of construction of new Wall.

Much more will be built. Liberals will pull out their hair and sob uncontrollably.

If someone were smart, they'd pay-per-view the sobbing as the Wall is being built. They'd likely get rich.

It's the start of the Wall. Something you and every other liberal said would never be built.

This is just the beginning. Relax and enjoy the show.
