Trump directed Michael Cohen to lie to Congress about Moscow project, BuzzFeed report says

I don't believe a damn thing that comes from Buzzfeed, are you serious, also, why not lead with this at the very beginning of all this? This seems, if true, which it ain't, the most serious accusation to date. Why not the lead? I'll tell you why, because it's BS, and all of you not TDS sufferers know it!

If true? If I told you to do something that was wrong and you did it what that create legal problems for me? Your actions speak louder than words and doing what is right is personal responsibility something apparently you don't understand. What I continue to see from these threads are nothing but speculation, rumors, attacks on Trump, and never any suggested policies for improvement. Lies are the hallmark of the radical left ideology

Trump has been a dead man walking since at least Cohen’s indictment, probably earlier. It’s been plain as day if you were paying attention. But while everyone is good at picking up the implications of news that gets reported, most people don’t grasp the signifance of stories that don’t get reported... but would be if they were true.

Eg. No one in the FBI has commented on the investigation into Trump as a foreign agent. Why? That’s an immensely damaging revelation which could destabilize the US government. The only conceivable reason you wouldn’t announce that the investigation is over and Trump is clear is if the investigation is’nt over. And the implications of an investigation of the President as a Russian agent that lasts two years is staggering.

You say that we need to have this information ASAP. That’s not true. This is immensely serious and the actions that everyone involved take will have ripple effects in our country that last for decades, maybe longer. It is vital that every investigation is carried out by the book. That means we all need to be patient and wait.

For starters, Nixon was not impeached, he resigned before the House voted. Also there was no subornation of perjury in the 5 articles of impeachment considered by that committee.

That being said, Bill Clinton's articles of impeachment did contain subornation of perjury and BC was impeached by the House and acquitted by the Senate.

So I ask, Is there a difference between subornation of perjury before Congress and subornation of perjury before the Grand Jury ??

Indeed. The important thing is having facts to substantiate the claims made. Impeachment or any other charges that should arise should be based on actual evidence; the idea of a soft coup isn't something anyone should take lightly.

I doubt he'll try that. Lying to congress is a federal crime - there's really no wiggle room on that one.

Except that Giuliani also claimed that paying off Daniels and McDougal wasn't a crime either (spoiler alert: it was).
 
Buzzfeed was already on the edges of reliability. This is a super bombshell story. If they got it wrong, they'll be forever placed in the category of Fake News, next to Gateway Pundit and Infowars.
