Burgers by candlelight: Trump lays out fast food for college football champs

Sorry, but churlish behavior can't make your claim less silly.
The text headline you refer to does not link. The only link is via the ESPN headline I posted originally, and again in #198.

Then maybe you should click on the link you keep posting and you'll catch up.

Not even the same thing. Jesus christ, the president of the US served fast food for his guest. That's embarrassing and no amount of right wing bull**** and deflection can change that
How petty can you people get? The team were asked beforehand what THEY would like to eat, they responded, the President provided it. That simple. What do you idiots do when hosting guests? They tell you they love burgers and pizza, and you make them brussel sprouts?

Conversely, The president is more in tune with his guests than the average hand wringing liberal and served them food they would enjoy eating.

The people bitching about this are likely the same people who serve braised lamb and mint jelly at a kids birthday party and then sit in the corner complaining that the little jerks want chicken nuggets.

McD's is only considered fine dining by the people who voted for Trump. Not surprising that you consider it fine dining.

There you go with your problems with reading comprehension or total dishonesty. Tell me, where do I state... I... believe it is fine dining? I stated it is in many former Communist countries.

In fact, I noted that with people like you in power for a serious period of time... McD’s would be considered fine dining...

...as it probably is considered so by Venezuelans.

Jack explained it... you have comprehension problems?

McD’s is considered fine dining... quality food... in many former communist countries. It will be too in America if Leftists get control of the country for a long period.

Have you ever eaten horse meat? It’s great stuff. Gustavskorv... or smoked and sliced thin... mmmmmm. When I see a horse, I think of Gustavkorv, some mustard, rye bread and beer. Tasty stuff.

Donald Trump is in power, and he served this crap to Clemson. You apparently don't realize how stupid your post just was. This isn't a communist country, even with that moron in power.

The burgers are burning while you're posting on here. Flip them. Trump probably needs some more.

Here is the President with the Clemson Tigers... obviously all had fun... much to the dismay of uptight Leftists.

Do you think you're the only one who knows how to alter a link? I can do it too. Sorry, but that kind of shallow dishonesty impresses no one.

Now you're lying again claiming I'm altering the link. I didn't. I copied it from my browser.

If you want to lie, lie to someone else. You are being dishonest instead of just admitting that the link you posted didn't match your hyperlink.

Your posts disgust me. I've seen you called out for years for dishonest posts and never believed it. Now I'm seeing evidence of it.

I have no interest in your lies anymore.

I'm happy to let others compare our posts and decide for themselves.

Oh... I sense you’re frustrated having been exposed as being thoroughly dishonest... ROTFLOL.

Well, being red blooded American men, they devoured almost everything.

Seems you know a lot about flipping McD hamburgers... giving orders and such about when they should be flipped. Nothing wrong with that honey. It’s a great way to enter the job market.

PS. Have you ever eaten horse meat? I highly recommend it. When properly prepared, it’s great stuff.

This thread is indicative of the ridiculous mindless hatred that has infected so many people. How pathetic. At an event where food is SELDOM served, the president offered burgers and pizzas to college athletes...and the leftists on cue **** themselves.

****ing hilarious.

Were you embarrassed when Obama treated the Russian President to a burger at a hole-in-the-wall greasy spoon? Tell me, would you have preferred he take them to one of the many fine dining, world-class restaurants withing a stone's throw from the WH, where white tablecloths are graced with crystal and china, and bottle cellars are flush with finest spirits?
Linen napkins replaced by arm-dripping burgers, for the President of Russia. How's that rate for ya?

I think Trump bought dinner mainly because of that.

I think it’s an obvious bit of theater due to the shutdown. The real important thing for these kids is the chance to meet the President. Probably be the only time for the vast majority of them.

Worth noting regarding an athlete's diet...

1) As training food goes, hamburgers are actually rather good, with a good balance of carbs for energy and protein and just plain old calories because you burn so many calories training you don't need to watch what you eat like the average couch potato. For example, many pro trainers will tell you to avoid sports drinks entirely, opting instead for chocolate milk, of all things, for its readily available short term energy from sugar, along with electrolytes, water and protein.

2) Athletes eat a lot or what we'd consider junk while training because caloric density is almost more important than nutritional balance.

Also, even if the college trainers had them on a strict diet during the season (probably didn't frown of hamburgers.. my guess) their season was over, and that was the perfect time to treat them to everything they would have craved during the season.

The fact that a lot of those guys had 4 burgers and several slices of pizza on their plates is a pretty good indicator that unlike the idiots ****ting themselves over this, they werent too upset.

College kids can scarf down fast food anytime and anyplace. One would think the fare at a once in a lifetime opportunity such as visiting the white house would be a tad more special and not so trailer park.
Yes, I'm sure they eat food most every day, maybe even more than once per day.

Obviously, it's not about the food. But, great idea to give them those burgers, fish, etc...
He should have called it Pelosi burgers with Chuckie Cheese on them.
