I don't get it. Why not some good catered food White House Style?
Bottom of the barrel fast food... I'd be embarrassed to serve it. I'm still ashamed I didn't cook my own Ham this Christmas.

You all didn't give up fast food after your twenties? I get that occasional nostalgia meal..but for a White House Dinner? Strange.

I'd rather good quality fajitas, pizza, and burgers...made with actual food. Maybe attract a few good chefs to help cater it...really good stuff, I mean, he's POTUS.
I don't want to make this about Trump bashing, I'm trying to focus on the food choice, not who chose it.

jetboogie's idea of it being about breaking the strict diet...maybe the coaches even suggest/applauded it. Jet's take maybe I could understand.

Crazy? It's hilarious. The president of the USA thought room temperature Big Macs were a fitting meal for the NCAA college football champs.

When you get elected, feel free to dictate the menu, By the way, these players aren't "past" their twenties, many haven't even got there yet. The winning quarterback was 19 Y.O. and threw a couple of TD passes to a 20 Y.O. wide receiver.

Most of us posters are over twenty, was my point.

Maybe it was a huge hit, I'm not saying that it wasn't. I'm just saying I could never conceive of doing that personally.
I'm thinking White House...you know...good food. Not something they get you know...when in a rush and want to eat poorly.

lol, I don't see them in the OP or the twitter, not sure what I clicked on to see them. Oh well, too tired. You're right, that's mostly a pile by candlelight.
