F.B.I. Opened Inquiry Into Whether Trump Was Secretly Working on Behalf of Russia

The FBI investigated Nixon but not a counter intelligence investigation. If true, epic.

LOL! SURE I can reason with you, I can reason that it is VERY odd and peculiar. NOTHING seems to add up.

BUT with all things fair. FBI has acted odd as well. Carter PAGE FISA warrants. HRC Emails (not related but point of actions related to the 2016 presidential elections), Flynn Unmasking.

There was a LOT of ODD missteps taken as a WHOLE of Context dont you agree?

Secondly. IF ITS of national security.... Trump has been POTUS for 2 damn years? If he was that much a a threat, isnt NATIONAL Security more important than TRUMP? If they have hard evidence to formally accuse a PRESIDENT and is of significant value. Would it NOT have been in the nations HIGHEST interest to remove him ASAP?

OR is it just boy who cried wolf. I do NOT know but Mueller has the info and sitting and has NOT released anything in formal accusations against TRUMP nor has ANY formal indictments been ANYTHING to do with a coordinate Russian plot as of yet.

So "National Security" Must not be in jeopardy if HE was allowed and STILL allowed to be POTUS yes or no? ITs just speculation and accusations at this point.

I am not convinced he is a willing asset. I am also not convinced that the FBI and Mueller really don't know what to do with this. This is new territory, if Trump is indeed an asset.

I have never been one to jump on the "collusion" bandwagon. I often felt that if Trump had any guilt with Russians, it would be money laundering. I am not even willing to believe that he knew what Manafort was doing. Trump may have been wise and savvy decades ago, but now he is just a useful buffoon.

Even if you're not willing to go along with the asset theory, what he is doing is so obviously to the benefit of a hostile foreign country and so obviously against the well being of our own, that...even if you don't accept the asset theory...this guy should have been shot out of a canon from the White House halfway through the first year. That he hasn't represents the breakdown in government I mentioned. Our system of checks and balances is supposed to act as an immune system against someone like Trump, and it's not working like it should be.

Is there ANY formal charges against Trump?
If national security is greater than a sitting president and trump is in violation of national security HE SHOULD BE GONE. He has been President for 2 years and going..... Guess its not proven serious yet.

FBI inquiry has been Taken OVER by Mueller its nothing new nor groundbreaking or smoking gun. Mueller has taken over this "inquiry" so why did the NY time need to release this??? What purpose did it serve?

You realize it took much longer to charge Clinton of lying about getting a blow job (none of our ****ing business for that matter) than this incredibly in-depth investigation has taken.

Watergate took even longer and it did not come even close to what we are dealing with here.

You are correct about one thing, we don't know what Mueller knows.

However we do now what has been made public and just that it s enough to convict trump and family of several crimes. What Mueller knows really appears to be far more in-depth...

I don’t get where you feel personally attacked; the sitting Presidentof the United States is being investigated for treason. I posted that you seem to have not been paying attention to the last three years of public news. Whether wittingly or unwittingly, and you want to obfuscate?

Watergate was a cover up (Could be somewhat national security I guess) But more like scummy politicians wanting to win elections

TRUMP is being accused of Plotting with RUSSIANS and potentially being a contributing assets to the RUSSIANS, to GET that type of accusation needs some pretty damn hardcore evidence and if the accusation is that serious, THEN he NEEDS to be on timeout as the POTUS.

I understand investigations take time... BUT a predicate would have at least need to be established. Outside of Trump's Goofy, Dumbass words and some dumb actions. WHAT predicate establishes NATIONAL security threat that TRUMP is an ASSETS of RUSSIAN. ILL say it again. IF FBI and MUELLER KNEW something from DAY 1, TRUMP should never have been sworn in.

The Real question is are they just interpreting acts and coming up with the accusations or do they HAVE FACTS. as if they ahve facts then they failed the AMERICAN people should KNOW ALL of it RIGHT NOW and remove TRUMP PERIOD.

The President has NOT been investigate as from my understanding, Comey has declined to stated he is the TARGET and so has Mueller.... To be investigated you must the Target if I am misunderstanding.

I have paid LOTS of attention. So please tell me. WHAT crime or predicate has indicated collusion, plot or coordination with TRUMP and RUSSIA. Was there a money exchange? Was there a secret meeting? Was there a email WHAT actual indication of collusion/coordination/plot/ploy.

WE KNOW NOTHING its all ACCUSATIONS and Speculations.

Again I say. IF national security was threatened and they have CREDIBLE evidence TRUMP should NEVER have been sworn in on DAY 1... YES or NO? so if there is ANY truth to the accusations it needs to be public ASAP to remove him from the office ASAP.

The FBI doesn't "interpret" Exactice, they gather irrefutable facts and evidence, especially in uncharted territory. This all sounds like it's gonna hit the fan.

But mueller came in well after trump was sworn in. This particular investigation wasn’t opened until after he fired Comey. Trump had been president for months already. What could the FBI have done, exactly? Especially if they were still investigating. They can’t remove him, only Congress can do that. It’s not an easy remedy.

I will agree with you that he never should have been sworn in, however we are in unprecedented territory and any professional will dot their I's and cross their T"s before accusing someone in his position.

Also by taking their time they are not only building a case, they are learning how Russia has been infiltrating our elections, and recruiting assets.

I Agree. Voted for Trump I support some of his policies. BUT if he committed a crime MORE SO a threat to NATIONAL security I want his ass OUT NOW! NO IF ANDS OR BUTTS if the FBI has credible evidence as well as Mueller GET IT OUT so we get put a PAUSE on Trump and then hash-out the details later.

IF NOT.... Then people have to understand that it is ALL opinion, speculation and assumption NOTHING more.

OH? Where have I heard that one from... Yet the the AG can pick an choose if and when to take their recommendations/conclusion WHEN the FBI does NOT interpret or come to conclusions.

With that being said, WITHOUT Facts in our pockets should we come to conclusions. I read a lot of conclusions on DP... and I know for a fact I have NONE.....

All this chatter about Trump declaring a “national emergency” is in the same vein as this purported investigation. There is that document that everyone trots out when it suits their argument. Removing a sitting POTUS has never been done. Nixon resigned and the history books may reveal that there was more pressure involved than reported. The investigation needs to “get this right” because once we let the genie out of the bottle, there is no retreat.......
 
If these allegations are true it seems that 45 has been AG shopping to avoid being indicted.

In all fairness. You have me questioning those rules as unfortunately I do NOT know those in particular.

But couple things I can assume (opinion)

1) Guarantee FBI was watching Trump CIRCA 2016? Carter Page, Trump Tower etc.
2) Flynn Monitor already indicates that FBI has been monitoring RUSSIAN assests WELL before Trump ever got the Republican Nomination. So the workings of Russian interference had to have been on the table.
3) The Dossier from which a British spy already in the works has info and developed info PRIOR to Trumps swearing. SO if ANY thing of value was in that dossier. Guarantee the FBI had it.


My point is. I get that Mueller came after, I get that the accusations and the ODD behavior of Trump was after he was sworn in. BUT Trump could NOT have colluded on the day of Nov 7th 2016 win the election, get sworn in and the FBI was caught off guard.

EITHER they KNEW already..... are our FBI sucks? Dont you think that somethings dont really add up???
