Angry furloughed federal workers protest shutdown at the White House, around the country

Sure you are. It's amazing debating cons on the internet. When the topic is business, they are a small business owner. When it's intel, they used to work for the CIA. When it's military, they were navy seals. What a remarkable coincidence.
800,000 furloughed govt workers and you don't believe one could post here. Bet you voted for Hillary, huh?

Just happen to think you are full of ****. That is all. I don't think you are furloughed and enjoying it. You spent your post talking about being furloughed and enjoying it then spent the rest of your post ****ting on the government as being nepotistic and bad. You are either lying and don't have a government job or are epically hypocritical.

You're furloughed right now due to this trump shutdown?

Typical Republican, no empathy for co workers. I got mine so screw everyone else. That of course is if your telling the truth.

I smell troll.

Agreed...This is a lying troll

So true. I can only hope they're able to nap at home as well as they do at their desks.

The last person I would believe is trump...or one of his followers...We will Defeat you...We will bring trump down...Blue State America will Win by any means necessary

I got it... Your main purpose for posting on this thread about the plight of Federal Employees not getting their paychecks...

Is to... Cheer Lead for Blue State America who will win by any means necessary!

Which ncludes Blue State Representatives ignoring the plight of Federal Employees.

Based on the fact that Trump will be blamed for their plight.

Any means necessary = The Speaker of The House Nancy Pelosi will not take any high moral action to help those Federal Employees get their paychecks to end their plight.

Results: Trump not getting his pointy steel fence is by far>>> more important to The Blue State than Federal Employees getting their paychecks!

Because Trump will be blamed!

Warning! Sarcasm alert >>>> GO! Blue State America!!!

Roseann:)

Spin this anyway you want, it wont change the fact the MAJORITY of Americans blame Rump for the shutdown. The optics on this matter look terrible for the GOP.

It was Trump who picked up his toys and left the situation room, you must have missed that fact. America took notice, and the polls reflect that fact.

Thank You, Yes I can spin this anyway I want to...

My spin is you are posting on a thread about the plight of Federal Employees not getting their paychecks and your main concern seems to be...

Trump being blamed for the shut down and that the optics for the GOP looking terrible.

You also want me to notice Trumps behavior that you can't prove actually happened...

In order to spin the debate away from the fact that The Speaker of The House Nancy Pelosi has the power to end their plight and has not taken the moral high ground to end their plight.

Results: Trump not getting his pointy steel fence is by far more important to Democrat Nancy Pelosi than Federal Employees getting their paychecks!

Roseann:)

If that is her thinking, then she is delusional....Although considering the crap family she came from I wouldn't be surprised...just more proof that Democrats don't care about the voter unless they do what Democrats want.

She thinks a wall being immoral is a good enough excuse to not use her power to help Federal Employees get their paychecks by ending the shut down.

Plus> Since, it is currently viewed that Trump will be blamed for the shut down and not the Democratic Party...

She is standing her ground not to fund Trump's pointy steel fence.

Results: Trump not getting his pointy steel fence is by far more important to Democrat Nancy Pelosi than Federal Employees getting their paychecks!

I agree.

Because:

1. The vast majority of Americans rightly blame Trump and the Republicans for the shutdown.

2. The wall that Trump wants is a colossally dumb idea.

3. Trump promised hundreds of times that Mexico would pay for his wall, so why does he now want the taxpayers to pay for it?

You are making an argument like a hostage taker would. "It's not me the one who took these hostages that is causing the suffering and turmoil, it's you who refuse to give into my demands that is causing the suffering and turmoil."

Please Note: You are posting on a thread about Federal Employees not getting paychecks.

Please Note: You have not addressed their plight.

Results: You are far more concerned about Trump not getting funding for his pointy steel fence based on 1. 2. & 3. than you are about Federal Employees getting their paychecks.

Just like...Speaker of The House Nancy Pelosi who has the power to end their plight.

Roseann:)

Hostage taker: "You can have these families back if you just give me what I want. It's all on you. See this person named CharisRose totally agrees with me."

So being that the Republicans had 2 years they could have funded Trump's wall through budget reconciliation and that would have only required a simple majority in the Senate, why do you not blame them? Surely you could enlighten everyone on that.

I understand that you prefer to focus on Trump and Republicans past actions and not on the current actions of The Speaker of The House Nancy Pelosi and her power to currently end the plight of those families and their paychecks being in limbo.

Results: You appear to be in agreement with The Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi that Trump not getting his pointy steel fence is far more important than those families getting their paychecks as soon as possible. Like today!

Roseann:)

The wall will never be funded. Period.

At the expense of The Federal Employees paychecks?

Results: Trump not getting his pointy steel fence is far more important than the Federal Employees getting their paychecks>>> Today.

The Speaker of The House Nancy Pelosi has the power to end the shut down. She has not used that power.

Maybe. Maybe not. Some of the judges might. Some of the judges won't. That does not make it a legal slam dunk, does it? How many of Obama's ten declarations of national emergency did he have to submit to republican critical evaluation of? None. Republicans respected Obama's right to make executive decisions whether good or bad. Democrats do not recognize Trump's right to make decisions because they hate Trump, conservatives, and God bless American traditions and values.

Republicans respected what now? If you can't acknowledge reality we can't discuss it.

"For the past eight years, Republicans skewered President Obama as an 'emperor' who acted outside of his 'legal authority' for the executive orders he issued from the Oval Office. Now, they are cheering President Donald Trump as he issues a raft of his own."

"Sen. Jeff Sessions, who is now Trump's attorney general nominee, called Obama 'emperor' for his use of executive action on immigration."

"House Speaker Paul Ryan condemned Obama's executive orders, calling a handful he issued a year ago aimed at reducing gun violence 'a dangerous level of executive overreach.'"

"Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson said Obama had 'exceeded his executive authority' and was acting 'without legal authority' in 2014, following Obama’s immigration executive orders."

Well, I think that the NEact of 1976 is clear. And, the road to block him from exercising his authority is a joint resolution, not the courts. Unless we want unelected judges running the executive now.

I don't know anyone who wants the executive and judicial branches blurred. I think the NE Act is the opposite of clear. It provides no definition at all of what an emergency is. Cautious judges will be loathe to establish a definition where Congress did not, but I think the solicitor general will have a hard time explaining why construction of the wall is suddenly and magically a national emergency when no one from the administration has been able to explain that yet.

The Democrats will not ultimately be blamed for federal employees receiving no pay. Mark my words.

I doubt she's telling the truth.

The house needs to write a bill that trump will sign. They need to visit Pelosi

That's not how the American version of representative democracy works. Why do you want Trump to be a king?

The Federal workers are on paid vacation. They will get all their back pay, for doing nothing, when this is over. Only the tax payer is getting a bad deal. The ones that are protesting are Democrats playing the political optics game for CNN's daily fake news. They are misrepresenting their paid vacation, as though a paid vacation is the great depression of 2009. Essentially the tax payer is paying them vacation pay, and they are using that paid vacation to politic for the Democrats? Is this even legal? Then may get docked some of their vacation pay or have to claim it as a donation.

Only Congress can approve the spending of money and they refuse to spend anything on a wall since they prefer foreigners over its own citizens; globalism. They said they want a world order and not a distinct American country. How much are they wiling to give foreign governments in the next budget? Even the "hardship of the vacationing Federal workers", is not enough to change their attitude toward US workers.

Another way to look at this was during the Obama recession, manufacturing, steel, coal and other industries were undermined by Democrat regulations. They also set tax and trade policies that sent jobs going over seas and allowed trade imbalances. This caused millions of private sector American citizens to lose their jobs. These people were not on paid vacation like the federal workers. Obama gave them food stamps. Very bad deal!

During that dark time, Government unemployment was less that 3% and 7 of the 10 most expensive counties to live in America were suburbs of Washington. Washington was fat and happy, while America burnt. The Democrat country club never tightened its belt. This vacation shut down is nothing compared to the series of hardship in the private sector imposed by Washington globalism. Obama kept the government on the gravy train by using credit cards to the tune of $10 Trillion. This was indicative of Washington dysfunction and the conning of the American tax payer. The Democrats continue this game.

HEAR! HEAR! :applaud
