Trump says he ‘never said’ Mexico would pay for the wall. But he did – a lot

According to the official website of the Social Security Administration, illegal immigrants cannot receive Social Security benefits because they cannot get a Social Security card with a unique number. Only legal immigrants can obtain a Social Security card and number.

There are two methods by which non-citizens can obtain Social Security cards, and both require authorization by the Department of Homeland Security and valid immigration documents. Applicants can apply for a Social Security card in their home countries at the same time that they apply for their immigration visas with the U.S. Department of State. Alternatively, applicants can visit a Social Security office after their arrival in the United States and produce documents proving that they are immigrants authorized to work. Either way, they must be legal and not illegal immigrants.

Now immigrants pay taxes and should benefit from doing so. Of course I am referring to the people here legally with immigrant status.

What do you not understand about the phrase "one form or the other" and what do you not understand about the word "MAY" ? It is pretty obvious that one form or the other means there are multiple different ways Mexico could pay and the word MAY means that a check is ONE of the possible ways Mexico could pay.

Notice he did not say Mexico WILL pay with a check and that is the only way they will pay.

So what you are saying is patently false.

I never thought he meant Mexico would write a check even though SNL portrayed it that way. I always took it as the wall will cause Mexico to pay for it. After all, the wall will pay for itself many times over each year. Over the years, remittances by illegals will cost Mexico much more than the price of the wall as well.

Trump even said during the campaign that he used loopholes that need to be closed. That if they were there, he used them.

Medicaid is only available for emergency services, and only for peds in a couple states.

The cost is about $2 billion, plus a smaller amount in pediatric service.

I can guarantee the schools that their kids go to don’t cost $12k/yr per kid.

These immigrants are almost certainly contributing more for the economy than taking out from it in services.

Walls work. That is why democrats don't want the wall. They work. Democrats used to want walls, they supported them publicly (Obama, Schumer, Pelosi, etc).

What democrats really want is to pay lip service to border security while keeping the flow of 3rd world peasants with no education who will be on welfare forever and vote democrat illegally
