That was not the people. It was the electoral college. He lost by almost 3mil in the popular vote and that continues to be his problem. The majority of the people are not with him.

That was a few years ago, public opinion can and does shift quickly. Also, I believe he lost the vote as it pertains to public opinion even with lower (D) turnout.

Either way, most Americans are against the wall. Not just liberals.

The amazing thing is he hasn't produced one single piece of evidence that the wall is a cost effective strategy for limiting illegal immigration and drug smuggling, but much of his base acts like it's the panacea for all the countries problems.

Give Trump credit for being a good salesman, he's literally selling the base magic beans for the low low price of $5b.

The Wall is meaningless for Border security...He wants a giant monument to his ego...His base of angry resentful bigots would actually like to see armed guards ready to shoot to kill.....Blue State America will never agree to that
