Networks to air Pelosi, Schumer rebuttal to Trump

Don't worry, they'll get to that. The first priority is to flood them in. Then they can worry about making them citizens and letting them know that the democrats are all about giving them handouts, so they know who to vote for. This is a long term plan, especially in Texas.

The Democrats are going to change the Constitution to allow illegals to vote? When is that going to happen?

Texas is a great state. But it's only one of 50. And it's controlled by the GOP, not the Democrats.

By the way, is there something wrong with people wanting to come to this country to become citizens?

It's called the Democratic Party. There is no such thing as the Democrat Party in this country.

I'm not a mind reader so I have no idea what the Democrats want. Nor would I pretend to. What I do know is that nobody has changed the Constitution, and it's highly unlikely that it will be changed with the current makeup of SCOTUS. Illegals still can't vote in the United States.

You don't have to be a mind reader to see what the Democrat Party wants. They actively work to keep illegal immigrant populations counted in apportionment, and turn their states into sanctuary states to attract illegal populations. The end result is more house seats and electoral votes through apportionment.

Ah, I see you're trolling now. You want to call the party by the wrong name. Sorry, I don't engage with people who play games.

Not directly, but they are people counted by the census so they increase the number of house seats and thus EC votes in states like CA and TX which have lots of them.

I'll take you seriously when I see you correct anyone else. In the mean time, they are the Democrat party because there is little within their party structure that is democratic.

It's so obvious that I can only attribute her persistent ignorance to cognitive dissonance.

The Republicans controlled the House, Senate and Oval Office until last week. If that was their concern, then they should have changed the way the census is managed.

Illegals still can't vote. That's a fact. And the Democrats know that.

Not at all, unless they do it illegally and push their way to the front of the line of those that want to do it legally.

And Texas is a great state in part because it's controlled by the GOP , not the Democrats.

Congress cannot change the definition of people or birthright citizenship for those born to illegal immigrants (and perhaps abortion?) would have been outlawed by now. To assert that supporters of sanctuary states/cities are for increased immigration law enforcement is a complete joke.

I don't even know what your last sentence means, since I never said anything about sanctuary cities or the supporters of sanctuary cities.

Don't know what you are talking about. They don't need to change the Constitution to make these people citizens.

Texas is a great state. But it's only one of 50. And it's controlled by the GOP, not the Democrats.
Obviously, that's the point. Lot's of EC votes there that they want to grab.

By the way, is there something wrong with people wanting to come to this country to become citizens?
You mean legally?

They need to change the Constitution to allow illegals to vote.

The EC? The Democrats control the EC votes in the 2 biggest states in the union - and it didn't help them in 2016. The Democrats will probably try to fight to abolish the EC since twice in the last 19 years it worked against them.

You said they wanted to make people citizens so they could vote. What is your objection to wanting people to become US citizens?

I think Democrats can already count on the votes of Puerto Rican's in the 2020 presidential election. Democrats don't have to work very hard to convince the majority of the voters of the 3.4 million population of Puerto Rico how little Trump and the Republican Congress care about them and what disregard and even contempt for their welfare those politicians have for their welfare.

I'll take you seriously when I see you correct anyone else. In the mean time, they are the Democrat party because there is little within their party structure that is democratic.
They want the "tic"? Well, they are like ticks, so they can be the Tick party too.

Do you have a comment that is on the topic?

Pelosi and Schumer represent those that favor sanctuary states/cities. It should not be hard to figure out that their version of "compromise" means saying no to anything deemed to be (too?) effective at stopping or removing illegal immigrants.

Yep they didn't change the constitution when they gave Citizenship to Native Americans in 1924 with the Snyder Act. And you are correct on the EC votes also.

Yeah, I can't take them seriously.

Democrat: "I hate the orange cheato hitler baby and his tea baggers!"

Non-Democrat: "Geeze, can the Democrat Party tone it down a bit?"

Democrat: "HOW DARE YOU, SIR!! It's the DemocratIC Party!"

They need to change the Constitution to allow illegals to vote.
As I said already, they want to make them citizens so that they can vote, understand? Getting them in here needs to be done first, as they are fighting for now.

The EC? The Democrats control the EC votes in the 2 biggest states in the union - and it didn't help them in 2016. The Democrats will probably try to fight to abolish the EC since twice in the last 19 years it worked against them.
Exactly why they want Texas.

You said they wanted to make people citizens so they could vote. What is your objection to wanting people to become US citizens?
You're not following along very well, if you are asking a question like that.

Yeah, I can't take them seriously.

Non-Democrat: "Geeze, can the Democrat Party tone it down a bit?"

Non-Democrat: "So now let's go back to talking about Obama's secret Kenyan birth certificate, and how he hates all white people, and wants to institute Sharia law in this country.":lamo

Sorry. They didn't order the shutdown.

They are just the ones refusing to accept compromise and perpetuating the shutdown.

Why not? They were offering him money for his wall. He could have taken what he could now, and worked on the rest later.

I'm following along perfectly fine. What is wrong with wanting people to become citizens and voting?
