Viral McDonald's brawl between employee and customer started over straw, witness claims

What is funny about straws is that it seems nobody drinks out of a straw at home but go to a restaurant and dammit I need a straw here!

Straws prevent ice a lanches. You know, when you tip up a glass with ice, and the ice hangs together until you get the glass past horizontal, then breaks loose and splashes your drink all over the front of you.... that's an ice a lanche. Most of us have experienced one.

Viral McDonald's brawl between employee and customer started over straw, witness claims

New Year’s Eve didn’t go so well for these people.

A fight broke out between a female McDonald's employee and a male customer at a location in St. Petersburg, Fla., around 6:50 p.m. Monday night, WFLA reported.

In a viral video of the incident, a man identified as Daniel Taylor is seen grabbing Yasmine James by the shirt with both hands and pulling her toward him. She then starts punching him as he holds on. The two go at it for about 20 seconds before the other employees intervene.

Taylor was escorted out of the restaurant and police were called to the scene. On his way out the door, he kicked another employee in the stomach.

He was arrested on two counts of simple battery.

COMMENT:-

That violation of his constitutional rights was, obviously, the straw that broke Mr. Taylor's back and he had no option but to exercise his 1st amendment "freedom of speech" right to show his displeasure.

Right?

Or was he simply a dolt?

Your call.

Trump made him do it....Impeach him now!

It is an acquired skill drinking without a straw I agree. But many have mastered it.

There is no question that under Trump, there has been a significant general coarsening and degrading of American culture. Lack of class, proud and arrogant ignorance, open and unapologetic rudeness and vulgarity, worship of cheap materialism, narcissism, lack of empathy or a sense of humanity, lack of refinement, maturity, or sophistication, etc..., all have become America's new cultural values and ideals.

There was another video last year of a man in Florida undergoing road rage because there was a guy on a moped that wasn't going as fast as the driver, a middle aged while male, would have liked. At the red light, he got out of his car, grabbed the guy on the moped and pulled him out on to the street by his shirt collar and started beating the tar out of him, yelling "I am going to go Trump on you a$$, you #$%^%$$!".

Trump is an inspiration to the low class low lifes in our country (not to mention the world).

Wait, I thought we couldn't project society's ills on one President....Isn't that what we were told during the morals discussions that took place during Clinton?

Yes. But Clinton's mouth was not a sewer of ugly insults and fear and hate-mongering every. single. time. it opened. So if you want to play whataboutism, Trumpsters still win. You are winning so much you are getting tired of it, just like Trump promised!

Your rights end where my physical body begins. Touch me, and all bets are off.

Good for her.

A dolt. Not having containers of straws to grab a straw from is not a reason to start fighting with someone. Good for the female to show that she is not to be pushed around by some a-hole.

If you think that that process STARTED with the election of Mr. Trump, you are sadly mistaken.

With only two years worth of data to go on, it isn't even possible to tell if that process has accelerated after Mr. Trump was elected. However, it wouldn't break my heart if someone were to want to bet me that it had SLOWED DOWN after Mr. Trump was elected.

You have a point. I would trace it back to the Newt Gingrich revolution of the 1990s. That’s when this style of really dirty, no-compromise, no-holds-barred style of politics started to become the dominant model of doing business in DC. Of course politics has always been a dirty game. But it started to go on a whole different level- where those who disagreed with you were no longer fellow citizens and patriots who have different opinions of how things should be done, but enemies to be vanquished. That was also about the time when all these shock jocks and pundits started to rule the airwaves too. The more shocking, low class, provocative, and vulgar, the higher the ratings. What you see in the United States now with a shock jock reality TV star for our president is the inevitable end result of those trends.

Isn't assaulting women hilarious? Like, totes magotes.

Sent from Trump Plaza's basement using Putin's MacBook.

You can't.

But, unfortunately, some people like to use the president as a role model.

On the other side, it is the people who choose their leader. If there are enough voters who are already coarse, rude, misogynistic, racist, and amoral to get one of theirs elected, then the president may just be a reflection on the society that gave him power.
