Canada, it's way better than America, ...
As a Canadian resident with multiple citizenship, I'd agree with the statement
Canada, it's way better than America for Canadians, but American is way better for Americans than Canada is.
... it's what happens when people don't vote against their own interests to stick it to the minorities and liberals.
Make that
"It's what happens when
most people don't vote against their own interests to stick it to the minorities and/or majorities and/or liberals and/or conservatives and/or any other group
AND when political parties actually have real platforms (that they actually publish and don't change radically simply in order to sucker you into voting for them) that they actually attempt to implement
AND the electoral boundaries are not set by "the party in power" so as to increase its chance of remaining as "the party in power" AND the electoral process is NOT manipulated by "the party in power" so as to increase its chance of remaining as "the party in power"
AND where judicial appointments come from an independently prepared list that considers "judicial quality" rather than "does this person belong to 'the party in power'" (admittedly belonging to "the party in power" does help someone who has been independently judged to be suitable to become a judge actually become one).
and you have a deal.
