Better late than never I suppose, but good that he went to show support for the troops. I actually don't disagree with Trump's notion of the US not being the world's policeman; the question is whether that decision is being made understanding how to change US influence in the world too.

CNN has become one big joke. But I think leading up to 2020 the MSM in general will become even more critical and run many more uncorroborated stories as hit pieces against anything Trump. First they did nothing but criticize Trump for not visiting Troops in a Combat zone during the holidays starting right after his first Thanksgiving at the WH. They also started ratcheting up the criticism before this Thanksgiving repeating the false claim that he had not yet visited the troops in a combat zone after being in office for two years when in fact that would not be official until the third week in Jan. 2019. So before the completion of his first two years as Potus, he has visited the troops in S. Korea, Iraq, and Germany. And Flotus Melania made history as being the first First Lady to ever visit a combat zone with a president overseas.


Was that good enough to silence his critics? Heck no. Now they are criticizing how he did it. This is the way it is going to be until a Democrat wins the presidency and then the media will praise them daily. There will be softball interviews the following years and lots of stories about their pets and the Democrat Flotus will be on every cover of a magazine and her personal missions will be seen as noble and just. Many critical or derogatory stories will be suppressed. That's how they roll.
