Yea the word legal...has nothing to do with the conversation. If there are fruit picking jobs.. then there is no reason anyone should not have a job.

And if the industry can't compete for workers, why is the industry there?

My only real beef with the wall, other than the imminent domain issues, is I don’t believe it makes economic sense as it will cost a ton of money to build and upkeep and still won’t stop the majority of illegals. But if somebody else wants to pay for it then be my guest.

Do you not have any idea how jobs or the country works?

There is a reason I am not a grocery bagger lol.... and a reason I am not flipping burgers... or picking up peoples trash... there is a reason I am not picking oranges

I developed my skills and reputation to doing something else that is valuable to society. If I didn't have any skills or other opportunities, than yea, maybe I would be picking oranges.

Your comments come of as terribly elitist xD

If the corporate fruit growers can't afford their own workers paychecks... it's an unprofitable buisness. You don't smuggle illegal labor caste rejects to do it cheaper for you xD

Well Mexico WAS supposed to pay for it but trump is now INSISTING American taxpayers pay for it. And since the majority of Americans don't want the wall, I think it is an excellent idea for trump voters to pay for it.

Lets see now. 62 million Americans voted for trump in 2016. trump wants $5 billion to build it. That works out to be about $80 each. That's a bargain. And trump can sweeten the deal by putting every donor's name on the brick they bought. And for an extra $100 - the letters will be gold plated.

Excellent idea. A GOFUNDME or Kickstarter page to fund the wall - that Mexico was going to pay for - and then another fundraising page for that military parade he wanted so much.

Ummm - I got to keep my own doctor and my family has saved well over $2500 a year thanks to Obamacare. Who are these people who didn't get what President Obama promised? I am sure more people benefited from Obamacare than those who claim they didn't.

If Obamacare is so bad then why have so many politicians - including republicans - signed up for it?

I'm happy you got to keep your doctor. Not everyone did. Some people had to choose between keeping their doctor and keeping the specialty clinic where their cancer was being treated.

Obamacare had significant flaws. Maybe 95% of the public could say they got what Obama said (except I'm pretty sure most didn't get the 2500 a year savings in premiums). But that would still leave 5% who didn't get to keep theirs, and that is promise broken.

And Obama paid. Democrats paid. Trump is here in large part because of Obamacare. I'm not going to argue with anyone on this.


My point is that Trump is lying at least as much as Obama ever did, so I hope he pays at least as dearly for it.
