Yeah, I heard the press pooled their resources, used a joint email account, and all kept an eye out.
I think they may have had better luck if they had left one person there, and everyone else had used their resources to check on the whereabouts of everyone it "may have been", and see if they could process of elimination it out.
If one group finishes, they just pick up someone not yet confirmed, etc.
Distributed tasks are normally hard to orchestrate, but it looks like they did the hard part...I feel they task they distributed was maybe the wrong one
(I have absolutely no idea how hard it is to identify the whereabouts of people on short notice, but they are reporters...they gotta be able to??)
