The fact that an alliance of China Russia and India would be so powerful that the Globe would quake, and that all that needs to be done now to bring that about is adding India, is exactly the appeal.

You should not assume that it will not happen, because greed is what it is and India has been suffering for a long time.

That plus China now has a record of overcoming long term hardship to return to its ancient glory.

Follow the Leader is an ancient game.

To Ukraine,

You have got independance from Russia, at least all the bits that wanted it. It was messy. You did not get the bits that either wanted to be Russian or the Crime which was never part of Ukraine really and was never going to be let go of by Russia as that is a very important military base for it.

You have the opportunity to become part of the EU in the future. Lots of wealth. Progress. Easy life etc.

You are not going to win any war with Russia. You might hurt them but you will hurt lots more. You don't want that.

The Russians have blocked the Kerch straits. They have control of the sea of Azov.

You have other ports, you can export and import by rail or road. It is not a massive issue. It is never going to cost a tenth as much as a war.

You will never get everything you are after.

India and China are not allies nor will they be. They are strongly competitors. They might go to war as they have in the past.

If India decides to join Russia and China in making the West the common enemy then that changes.

Why would India want to be the puppy of the criminals running China?

They have their own policy and own sense of nationhood.

What do you think India would gain out of an alliance with its' competitor in the field of low paid jobs in a war against the places it wants to sell its' products to?

Talk to an Indian in his region of the world about China and he'll mention "the war." It's very likely to be one of his first two or things he says.

What war?

The 1962 war CCP surprise initiated then withdrew from as India marshaled its forces to respond and before India could counter strike. The War. It was much more of :inandout: than any engagements of big land armies but never mind. In India it was and still is "The War."

Your post btw begins with "If". Which means you're staring out with nothing. Nothing indeed.

In China when we ask 'why' all Chinese blurt immediately, "NO WHY!" Chinese have been conditioned not to ask why and not to accept 'why' as a valid expression of thought. It's in the culture and it is solid, firm. That is, everything just is and that's all there is to it. It's Chinese logic, which is circular in contrast to Western logic which is linear.

In Western culture we also say 'if' commonly. We definitely overuse the word 'if' however. In fact when some certain people use 'if' it is a yellow flag alert that there might be some delusion occurring. Or wishful thinking that is exclusively an imagining. Another word/concept to describe its misuse is fantasizing.
