New York Supreme Court denies request to dismiss Trump Foundation lawsuit

Someone here told us this was already dismissed.

Then got real pissy when asked for a link to document it.

Can't remember who, but I guess we see why.

Here's to a good run for this attempt to shine light on Trump's corruption.

It's possible that person was referring to a prior emoluments lawsuit that lacked standing. That lawsuit was refiled with proper standing and is moving forward.

I get stressed out if I have one outstanding bill. I don't know how you wake up everyday and the first thought in your mind is trying to keep straight all of the criminal and civil cases building against you.

Trump is contending with the Mueller investigation, the SDNY investigation on the Michael Cohen side, a bonanza of future House investigations, the AG tax evasion civil lawsuit, the Emoluments lawsuit and finally the Trump Foundation lawsuit. Those are seven directions Trump is taking it in, and the House investigations alone could easily balloon into a dozen.

....

The claim(s) the person made went more like this:

(a) the attorney general had decided it wasn't worth pursuing -- making her an admirable person in spite of being a liberal

which changed to

(b) the attorney general left office and thus all open cases were automatically dismissed

which was silly and then that was changed to

(c) everyone asking that poster for evidence is a hater and a doody head.

Couldn't happen to a more worthy person.

I know exactly who that sounds like.
