Judge orders Trump administration to restore CNN reporter Jim Acosta's White House press pass

The only belligerent one is el trumpo. Acosta was merely doing his job, yeah maybe he could have given back the mic quicker but he wasn’t being “belligerent”, he was asking questions (again, that’s his job) which trump neglected to answer and chose to be disgustingly rude, condescending and took personal jabs at Acosta and others in lieu of answering those questions. Good for Acosta for fighting back against the tyrant in chief and the Judge made the right call here.

The president (any president) isn't obligated to answer any question from any journalist.

This judge obviously doesn't understand The Constitution and is unfit to sit on the bench.

I would be concerned JA would be acquiring ceramic glocks and such.

Acostas next "debate" towards the president could be coming at 800 fps plus ....

All these liberal activist judges who don't understand the Constitution make me sick. This is just more deep state resistance against Trump. This judge was appointed by...

*checks notes*

...President Trump.

Never mind.

What questions did Trump not answer? Acosta asked why Trump was calling the caravan an invasion. Trump answered. Acosta started to ask about the Russian investigation, Trump answered that too. Did he have some other question that he asked that I didn't hear?

And why does trump take personal jabs at people? That’s acceptable to you? Sorry but I expect more from the highest office. His behavior was disgusting during that press conference. Again, the judge made the right call. Trump can try again. We all know he will.

Free speech?

Did you find it acceptable when Obama did it?

I never said he was obligated. But it’s Acosta’s job to ask questions. And it’s his right. Trump can be nasty all he wants, but Acosta deserves to keep his pass. Yeah yeah, the judge doesn’t understand... blah blah blah. Sorry you don’t like the decision.

Oh, I'm sure Trump will take this to the rigged Supreme Court, get what he wants and then manage to pretend it's fair. And, of course, his many sycophants will cheer.

Did the original case back in 60s or so go to SCOTUS

I don't agree with this ruling.

What entitles Acosta to keep his pass? Is he special? Priviledged? Is this the white priviledge you all are always crying about?

When Obama did what? Why are you bringing up Obama? Why does it always go back to Obama? First of all I have never seen Obama behave that way towards the press, and if he ever did, sorry I missed it, but I would be appalled as well. Why do you think it matters who does it? We are talking about trump’s treatment of the press here, and this thread is about the judges ruling. Start another thread on Obama.

Clearly the judge agrees with me. It’s literally part of his job. If you can’t understand that then I’m sorry, don’t know what else to tell ya.

There's one of those Trump appointees, and former Republican staffers, who can't be trusted when it comes to anything they have to decide concerning their Dear Leader.

Or so I've been told that's how it goes.

This case was the same as what happened 50-60 years ago,

If he thinks this week is rough, wait till the Dems in 19 start calling witnesses.
Will he suffer Twitter Burnout?
Will he have spare phones?
What will he do?
Oh yes, lash out as always, his base will suck it up, Congress (House-Senate) will provide cover and makes 2020 Dem Presidency much easier

One can get a real feel for Trump when he used the term embrace after 6 Nov. Off the top of my head, some more Trump supporters will feel an embrace, handcuff embrace that is.

Oh I think it will it get worse before the Dems take the House gavel. I reckon Jr will be indicted very soon. Trump will loose his mind !!

Rule of law- past precedent

The courts can't make law. Nor, can they change The Constitution. The Constitution says nothing about the press having unlimited access.

who said he was obligated?:lamo

its always funny when you make up the most stupid and disconnected claims that show you have no idea about the topic at hand

The correct court decision.

The Trump White House is in the process of silencing investigative journalists by holding their press-pass hostage.

Every major media corporation, including FOX News, supported CNN with amicus (friend of the court) briefs.

Republicans are all for free speech, until they aren't....

Is it because Acosta is an angry, white man?

It was different when Obama did it, making derogatory comments about the free press?
Fox New's point of view” was “ultimately destructive” to the U.S, Obama's White House Labels Fox News Illegitimate

Yeah, despite our politics, we should ALL expect more from the highest office.

IMO, Jim Acosta should never be called upon again because he's proven he is there only to attack this president with his lame, argumentative bait questions and constant disruptions.
That said, I believe the ruling should also go in his favor eventually. Let him sit on his hands in future pressers.

Yeah, it is the typical M.O. Throw out more chaff, ignore the actual topic...
