Inspiring? Really? Trump proclaims himself a “nationalist” just before he goes to an event that recalls the evil that nationalism inspires. Thirty-seven million dead, I’m told, in WWI. All because Germany, France, Russia, Britain et al.. had to wave their nationalist dicks around as Trump is doing. My battleship is bigger than yours. Ironic that the two leaders who saw through the bull**** and sought a better way were Woodrow Wilson and Lenin.

It was FRENCH rain.

Mr. Trump wouldn't have let any amount of AMERICAN raid deter him from honouring the fallen.

But that FRENCH rain is just too yucky for words.

Mr. Trump knew that the ceremony wasn't important because it was honouring American soldiers who had been killed in battle and he wasn't one of them.
 
I travel 87 miles each way to go to the casino twice a month and all I have is a Subaru to keep me protected. Not only that but I return home broke usually. A 50 mile trip to Belleau Wood would have been easy-peasy, especially with someone else driving a fortified armored vehicle and an army of secret service around.

Nevertheless, there are some heartwarming photos to take away from this presidential trip to Paris. This is one. As Putin approaches, observe the expressions.

Trump has no use for dead soldiers. Only alive ones he can use a pawns in his election campaigns.
 
Well trump has flown home to his safe space...No doubt the French are relieved to be rid of him......Maybe he can go to a rally in some Fly over state....To make himself feel better
