Attorney General Jeff Sessions Submitted His Resignation To Trump

Re: Attorney General Jeff Sessions Resigns from Trump White House

So you are claiming that Mueller has been sitting on truth because he is a political tool rather than the steward of the Justice System that he is advertised as...

That is very possible.

No, he sat on it during the mid terms....he said he would give a report after midterms so as to not affect the results of those elections..it is called ethics.

That only works if he found out something over the last 90 days.....if he knew before that he should have been telling the nation before that.

He said nothing.

Re: Attorney General Jeff Sessions Resigns from Trump White House

I think it is too late...I believe Mueller already has the goods and I am betting Sessions now will too..

it is probably pretty late in the game on that one, true.

Re: Attorney General Jeff Sessions Resigns from Trump White House

Mueller is very good at his job..

Given the almost complete lack of transparency, which is itself unjust, you are in no position to make this statement.

Re: Attorney General Jeff Sessions Resigns from Trump White House

He can't make stuff up.

The Failed Intelligentsia! do that on a regular basis..."He should not make stuff up" is the correct statement here.

Yeah they could come up with another Russian Trump dossier. I'm sure the RNC and Hillary would pay the Russians to make more stuff up for Mueller . :lamo

Re: Attorney General Jeff Sessions Resigns from Trump White House

He spewed all over the place in the news conf. this am that altho he could stop it all, he wont.

Let's watch and see.

Not holding my breath. They're in panic mode...........

You know.....That was straight up abuse of the justice system for political gain....the fact that we hear so few of our leaders willing to say so....knowing enough to say so.....is proof of how far American has fallen already.

Also that it took so long for this information to reach the people.

BUCKLE UP! Extreme turbulence ahead!

Re: Attorney General Jeff Sessions Resigns from Trump White House

Now we find out if Trump is dumb enough to obstruct Mueller.

No question he will be clipping Mueller's wings. It will be the Republican Senate, however, that will be dumb enough (or more aptly, corrupt enough) to allow it.

BUCKLE UP! Extreme turbulence ahead!

Excellent advice.

Three times: You can keep your Dr. You can keep your healthcare insurance if you like it. Obamacare will save a middle class family $2000 a year.
All were BOLD faced lies told over and over!

None were lies as that is what he was told the was the case. Just because the estimates did not live up to the speculation it does not make it a lie.

I do believe the **** is flowing out of their asses. After the crap Trump has pulled, his lies and personal attacks I can't wait to see how the House uses their subpoena power.

This is better than a special prosecutor as a House investigation CAN look at Trump's personal finances. There's enough mud in this administration to create a w moon.

Yep, a whole lot of little people are ****ting very large bricks right now and Trump just jumped into the trap.

A fool and his money are about to become worldwide news folks

Re: Attorney General Jeff Sessions Resigns from Trump White House

good riddance-he wasn't a brilliant attorney and his jihad against recreational dope was just a waste of time. while the SG needs the top legal mind available, the AG should still be a top rate attorney with years of federal prosecutorial experience.
All true but that's not why Swampy fired Sessions. Sessions was fired because he wouldn't act as interference to protect Trump from Mueller.

It's like agreeing that we should get rid of ISIS because they put too much olive oil in their humus.

Re: Attorney General Jeff Sessions Resigns from Trump White House

Sessions was a fool.......Humiliated by trump......If trump thinks Mueller will go away...He is sadly mistaken...Blue State America ready to bring him down

Attorney General Jeff Sessions has resigned at the request of President Trump. The move follows months of Mr. Trump expressing his displeasure with Mr. Sessions in critical tweets.

The abrupt move ended Mr. Sessions’ tumultuous tenure as the nation’s top law-enforcement officer. Throughout, he couldn’t shake Mr. Trump’s displeasure over the special-counsel investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Resignation letter states- at your request- aka resign or be fired

He may as well be admitting he has **** to hide. This proves the adage that those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it. "The Boss" (same moniker Mussolini liked) has just handed the Democrats the doomsday weapon.

It's a desperate move that ignores the consequences, typical for a guy who usually can lie his way out of consequences. This time, the House of Representatives has subpoena power and they have vowed to use it.

Hunker down folks, we're about to see Donald J. Trump's entire life exposed to the entire world, every cheap little trick, every finance deal, every girlfriend and whore.

Desperate, but he has to be counting on being able to hut them down politically or worse.

I am going on his past record...yes, I can make that supposition based on that.

In case you didn't know this, an investigation into foreign interference in a United States election is not something that should be an open book and reported on regularly to the public, so a 'lack of transparency' accusation is absolutely ridiculous. There can't be transparency in an investigation, otherwise those people that are being investigation would know that, right?

Robert Mueller’s team has indicted or gotten guilty pleas from 32 people and three companies... that we know of. Four former Trump advisers, 26 Russian nationals, three Russian companies, one California man, and one London-based lawyer. Six of these people (including now all four former Trump aides) have pleaded guilty. Four ex-Trump aides have already struck a deal with the prosecutors. About two dozen Russians have been charged with election interference.

Robert Mueller, has issued more than 100 criminal counts against 32 people and three companies. Additionally, Michael Cohen, Trump's former lawyer and Sam Patten, a lobbyist linked to Trump’s former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, pleaded guilty to charges that stemmed from Mueller’s inquiry.

How can anyone possibly make hollow claims and accusations about lack of transparency and 'waste of money'? The facts are right there out in public. Could it be because Robert Mueller has so much integrity and his staff of lawyers so determined to keep all of their investigative work shielded from public consumption and instead focus on their tasks at hand and never leak any information? For the vast amount of indictments and guilty verdicts the FBI has uncovered they've actually been working at warp speed because a case like this would ordinarily take up to five years to push through. The paperwork and investigative legwork is absolutely mind-boggling.

When the charge is that our President is dirty then the Justice System has a duty to the people to find out the truth fast, and to relay that information to the people fast.

Our system has failed completely to do so, this is abuse of the nation for apparent political aims.

MUELLER SUCKS!

Re: Attorney General Jeff Sessions Resigns from Trump White House

How much is this deployment costing the American taxpayer?

Are you insinuating the TROOP deployment Cost?

First off lets break it down,

Many of the TROOPS are Active duty. They are JUST deployed to the border to conduct their JOB.

Their pay is based on their PAY GRADE. so an E5 working on their BASE in Fort Bragg, is going to get the same pay At the Texas Border as an E5. I dont THINK they would GET any other Oversees pay or hazard pay.

NOW ask the HOW MUCH would it COST for the Government to PAY for all the logistical services that we are SETTING UP for the 1000's of people.

Tent City, Bathroom, Plumbing, Water, Food, Medical Services, Legal Council, Human Resources. Etc.

The Deployment of the Troops are limited to the PAY grades that are already being PAID. I would be more concerned about the "FREE Services" we will be providing to them? how much do you think THAT will cost?

Re: Attorney General Jeff Sessions Resigns from Trump White House

Sessions' chief of staff, Matthew Whitaker, will serve as acting attorney general, Trump announced. Whitaker also will assume oversight of the ongoing investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, and possible collusion by Trump's campaign in that meddling.
