Jamal Khashoggi: Saudi journalist's body parts found, say Sky sources

https://news.sky.com/story/sky-sources-jamal-khashoggis-body-parts-found-11533202

“Reports the writer's "cut up" remains were found in the garden of the Saudi consul's house, are "deeply disturbing", says No 10.”

Why would the Saudi’s be so sloppy? What is Turkey’s aim in keeping this story hilighted?

The Saudi official story has changed a few times now. Personal effects found in a diplomatic car. Body doubles.

From the parts they can tell what was done to the man. The Turks and Saudis are at odds and have been for years, but no one can blame the Turks for being mad that the King thought he could kill someone in Turkey. The US needs to kill the arms deal and sancton SA to include spare parts for their current military equipment, murder should have consequences.

I doubt there is an audio recording.

I have no doubt Turkey was running a surveillance operation on that consulate. It is entirely plausible they had recording devices in there. I think the initial story they floated about the audio being transmitted via the Apple Watch was an attempt to admit they had audio without admitting they had bugged a diplomatic compound.

Maybe they don’t have it. But they knew things about this murder that would be more easily explained if they had eyes or ears inside that building.

I have a different take on that: I believe there is at least one Turkey sympathizer in the Saudi consulate who gave verbal info to the Turks. There is no way Turkey would give up such a valuable source, hence the story about audio, which morphed into audio and video, which morphed into Apple watch.

Well, that's my opinion only. (grin)

Us, being mere peons, will probably never learn the truth.

I heard a report that Turkish employees were given time off during the incident and that official business appointments were told to come back at later dates........

That is plausible as well.

During a moral presidency that would happen, Saudi Arabia would be sanctioned and their arms deal cancelled. But this is Donald Trump we're talking about, the billionaire playboy from Queens who worships gold, he has absolutely no intention of sanctioning the Saudis. Even if a HD movie of the murder came out in full color he would justify it in some way. Money is everything to Trump.

The reason I'm convinced that he'll do absolutely nothing is the building up of the arms deal and jobs created from the deal for our military hardware. In just a few short days the story about the deal and the jobs went like this. First it started with 40,000 jobs to be created from the Saudi arms deal, then every two days the numbers grew and grew....

October 13
"the order for the military is $110 billion dollars, the largest order ever made, it's 450,000 jobs"

October 17
"they have a tremendous order, every country in the world wants a piece of that order, it's 500,000 jobs"

October 19
"we have $450 billion dollars worth of things ordered from Saudi Arabia, a very rich country, 600,000 jobs maybe more"

October 20
"this is equipment and various things ordered from Saudi Arabia, $450 billion dollars and I think it's over one million jobs"

I have 3 D's for the Donald; Nationalism, Nastiness and Nonsense

We won't learn it from Trump.

"Trump on #Khashoggi’s murder: "They had a very bad original concept. It was carried out poorly. And the coverup was one of the worst in the history of coverups. It's very simple. Bad deal. Should have never been thought of. Somebody really messed up." "

He seems to rate Kashoggi's cold-blooded murder like it was a task on "The Apprentice"! Will he fire the Saudis?

I don't get it. You want to sanction KSA. You also want to sanction the nuclear deal BO made with Iran.

When is a 'bad' country to be punished by the US and when is a 'bad' country to be rewarded by the US?

So far everything the Turks have said about this incident have been true.

Everything the Saudis have said turned out to be false and had to be "walked back"

And Trump has claimed to believe everything his Saidi partners have said
