What exactly is that philosophy, mindset that you believe I'm trying to change? Looks to me like the radical left is trying to implement an outcome-based education system in this country will you try there for you succeed and actual results don't matter

I never wrote you were trying to change something, I wrote that you were describing a mindset or philosophy and then moved the goal posts to actions.

It's apparent the opposite of progressive is true of conservatives when I read you floundering here...backwards.

Again...progressive has a very positive definition and is in no way derogatory. OTOH, you are of the 'opposite' team...and proud of it, it seems...and the opposite of progressive is, basically, backwards. Rigid, unable to change, etc.

I can see your definition of great and mine are quite different. Mine are based on actual data and results, your on opinions. I will be voting for a continuation of the Trump economic and foreign policy results, you will vote based upon hatred of Trump and a Democratic Party that is divisive, promoting class warfare, and violation of immigration laws.

When Progressives start acting in a more positive manner then you will have some credibility but definition doesn't define their attitude nor describe the actions. Change is what we are getting, no more class warfare, more policies returning to the states, rule of law, individual wealth creation, personal responsibility. Voting for a Progressive today doesn't support those values.

I get that understanding by doing research, understanding data, civics, and economics along with 35 years experience in the private sector, military service and over 70 years on this earth

Hey...I didnt choose the label or adopt it...it seems conservatives did...out of ignorance of it's true meaning and how it then defines them in the opposing sense they are so proud of...backwards.:mrgreen:

Then define it for me since I am wrong and how it differs from Liberal? To me a progressive is just a glorified liberal who cannot admit that they are liberal and progressive sounds better to them with both promoting govt. involvement and bureaucrats solving perceived social problems like price gouging, drug prices, etc. Although a Progressive doesn't profess to be a liberal I truly don't see the difference with both promoting bigger govt. interference in the private sector.

Define for me a Progressive on the ticket this November who truly isn't a liberal and who Pelosi and Schumer wouldn't manipulate?

Sixteen posts in and you're the first person whose come close to understanding what's really going on here.

To be clear, Pres. Trump can't pull out of the nuclear arms reduction treaty of 1987 which was the START I Treaty because it expired in 2009 and was renewed by President Obama in 2010. What Trump is trying to do is get out of the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty of 1987 which limited our capacity to build short- medium range nuclear (and conventional) weapons affixed to mobile launchers. That's what's really in play here.
