In summer and fall 2014, the United States experienced a nationwide outbreak of EV-D68 associated with severe respiratory illness. From mid-August 2014 to January 15, 2015, CDC or state public health laboratories confirmed a total of 1,153 people in 49 states and the District of Columbia with respiratory illness caused by EV-D68. Almost all of the confirmed cases were among children, many whom had asthma or a history of wheezing. Additionally, there were likely many thousands of mild EV-D68 infections for which people did not seek medical treatment and/or get tested. This was the first documented nationwide outbreak of EV-D68. EV-D68 cases in years since 2014 have been reported more sporadically, which is considered typical.

I have, they never advocated shooting asylees or 3 year olds like you have. IT doesn't matter if they are dead or not...they are why we have a Constitution...you should try reading it sometime.

Trump should immediately stop all aid to central american nations until they demonstrate they are actively helping America rectify this issue. Vote for dems people and this is what youre going to get on a scale that dwarfs this. Theyve made no effort to even hide their desires to let illegals flood across our borders. They want these people voting for them and giving America the middle finger with an F.U. topping. Just look at the people defending this invasion. Disgusts me.

north America belongs to the people of the first nation the unwanted immigrants to their land were not welcome you came and stole there land massacred and raped their women and children and killed all prey they needed to survive and then planted them on reservations .... so don't spout your moralities to me sunshine you have none

The President is a true patriot who feels that people in other countries should not be able to give the middle finger to our immigration laws.

But he is bound to lose.

There are too many Democrats AND Republicans who want undocumented immigration to continue.

There is no national will to stop it.

The country is being changed, and many people say that they are fine with that.

The President is a very intelligent man.

Sending troops to the border sounds very dramatic, but they will not be able to stop one undocumented immigrant from entering.

I assume that the President hopes that his proposed action will at least galvanize people to vote Republican on November 6.

My nephew ( and 20 other kids ) we're exposed to TB at his High School last year.
When my Sister asked why a kid with active TB was allowed to attend school, she was told the school only requires the parents of migrant children to sign a form stating their child was healthy

It's sheer lunacy and it's the result of Political pandering by people that put party and ideology over Country and safety.

Indeed it will. Caravan's of migrants openly defying and flouting US law and sovereignty only serve to energize the Right and Trumps base.
By now most people are well aware these migrants are being organized and paid by Left wing activist organizations that advocate for open borders.

PS - Mr. Trump is also making noises about abrogating the terms of NAFTA 2.0 even before it has been formally adopted - or even afterwards if the Mexicans don't do - in Mexico (regardless of what the laws of Mexico are) - what they are told to do by the President of the United States of America. This, of course, is going to bolster the degree of confidence that the Mexican government has that the US government will actually abide by NAFTA 2.0.

“We want to make sure that those claims are legitimate,” he said, noting a handful of migrants had already applied for asylum in Mexico.

“We obviously are sensitive to the humanitarian situation that we encounter,” said Gutiérrez. “But we have also made very clear that there is no legal ground on which Mexico can issue a permit by which people can just go through Mexico towards the United States.”

looks like it worked out pretty well.

Where does the CDC say D68 is the definitive cause of AFM? I never said D68 is a polio causing enterovirus. Neither did Wiki I did say that AFM's cause at this point is still undetermined and that EV D68 is a prime suspect at this point. Saying AFM is caused by D68 is premature at this point.

so very true ... like how half the population of Scotland were forced from their ancestral highland homeland by the British (London) to remove the troublesome highlanders because they did not except British rule and were basically forced to emigrate to north America ... that is why there is 40 to 45 million ethnic Scots and Scots Irish in America because Scots were also forced to farm in Ulster (N Ireland)

hopefully with Indyref2 the forced emigration of Scots will never happen again
