Where did you get that idea? I've seen nothing that connects it to any kid in Colorado. I've seen articles connecting it to Asia, and others stating that the experts have no idea. Nothing connecting the outbreak to a white kid in Colorado.

I thought all those conservative Republican politicians were tough on crime and borders... Yet we still have migrant invaders flooding into our borders. SO either they are all Democrats, or those migrants will find a way to come here regardless of whatever cockamamie law you think of.

There's nothing in that article indicating that the disease originated in a white kid in Colorado. I live about a half mile from where Carter lived, and I don't live in Colorado.

FWIW, Carter died a couple weeks ago.

Well, i already said it originated in California, corrected myself and Carter lives in Virginia...care to show how that has anything to do with immigrants bringing disease? Especially since this virus requires contact with one another like the flu does?

Clara, I made no reference to immigrants. You made the statement that it originated with a white kid from Colorado, then California. Neither of the articles you posted reference a white kid as the cause. Your article #1 did reference Carter, the kid from Chesterfield.

You didn't no, a poster before you did...thus my comment wtf are you talking about...enterovirus is similar to a bad flu...sometimes, not often it is serious...other times, it runs its course...there is no vaccination for it, just like there is no vaccination for the cold virus.

I did...I said it is like a bad flu....I am a nurse...I know what enterovirus is...it is a virus spread through mucus, cough, etc...just like the flu is. it is NOT polio as the previous poster claimed...he called it a vaccine resistant polio virus...he is full of chit.

Well I have no idea about polio like diseases but in diseases like measles it can be a problem because of the lower rate of vaccination. A measles outbreak was traced back to an illegal alien at a Federal detention center in Arizona.

Fourty people caught measles at Disneyland because of low vaccination rates in California. A unvaccinated tourist brought the measles in to Disneyland with them.

Normally, children who are too young or too medically fragile to be vaccinated against diseases are protected by herd immunity, but herd immunity has been especially weakened in parts of southern California, where children in some neighborhoods are vaccinated at lower rates than impoverished African countries.

So unvaccinated people can be a legitimate issue. Several years ago I witnessed a case of polio. It was transferred from a child that was vaccinated with a live attenuated vaccine that pass a live virus in its feces to a unvaccinated illegal alien sibling.

Then why do you keep referencing me?

I am not the previous poster. I did a little research after the Chesterfield boy died. I hadn't heard about the white boy from Colorado/California. I still haven't. It was my understanding that the increase in cases started in 2014.

there were an entirety of 120 cases in the entire country....that isn't huge. Flu is huge and kills tons of people every year.
