The GOP chair for the Lone Star State recently sat down for an interview with Channel 2 Investigates at his Austin office, and said, "His constituents will have no one representing them in the legislature and that is wrong."

One question - How in the holy hell did Republicans miss this pickup opportunity. This case has been going on for quite a while, and Republicans should have jumped in early. They could have run someone's pet cat and beaten this guy. LOL.

Republicans are well aware that there's no such thing as a slam dunk election in certain situations.

Surely you haven't forgot Mayor Marion Barry of the District of Columbia and the city of Detroit looks like a war zone because of decades of local government corruption and all because "race" rather than "quality" was the primary determining factor at every election.

Sometimes the racial makeup of the electorate is the dominant factor. (providing the candidate is a democrat)

Minority democrat voters will usually support a candidate of their own race whenever possible regardless of crimes or character.

Here is the reason Ron Reynolds is still in the running!

Aren’t there laws saying a member of Congress can’t be impeded from going to session or something? I realize things might be different at the state level. And I might be misremembering that factoid altogether.
