Washington (CNN)Donald Trump Jr. retweeted an unsubstantiated claim on Friday insinuating missing Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi is a terrorism sympathizer -- a move that comes as the administration of his father, President Donald Trump, faces pressure on how to respond to the journalist's disappearance.

Khashoggi, a former Saudi royal insider who became a critic of the country's government, disappeared last week after he went into the Saudi Arabian consulate in Istanbul, Turkey, to obtain paperwork to marry his Turkish fiancée.

Turkish authorities have said they believe Khashoggi, a columnist for The Washington Post, was killed inside the consulate, a startling allegation that is firmly denied by the Saudis.

Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong but to the best of my knowledge the Turkish evaluation is also unsubstantiated.
 
Trump's outlook on the Sadis can be summed up by this recent quote: '"Saudi Arabia, I get along with all of them. They buy apartments from me. They spend $40 million, $50 million," Trump told a crowd at an Alabama campaign rally in 2015. "Am I supposed to dislike them? I like them very much." With Trump, it is apparently all abut the flow of big money from the Saudi Royal family.

Seriously if the Turks want to be believed here I need to see the evidence that they claim they have, that they have refused to show me.

Who cares? Trump befriended Kim and Putin for Christ sakes and nobody doubts they are murderous scumbags, but Trumpkins only respect strength so not like they care if Trump adds another to the list. That is the new American patriotism.

I read somewhere that they had the audio and video of an Apple watch on Khasoggi's wrist.

That's the story but, so far, I've seen nothing confirming that or confirming the validity of such recordings if they exist.

Trump is attempting to solve pressing global issues through diplomacy and negotiation instead of endless war and profits for the MIC, Apparently the left is now opposed to peace

The Democrats are the kings of running with unsubstantiated claims. 2 wrongs don't make a right but it does make for a fair fight.

That's the way I understand it. All we do think we may know is that there is a CCTV video clip supposedly showing him entering the consulate, that supposedly no one has seen or heard from him since, that the Saudi's say he left on his own without any corroborating evidence to prove that claim, that the Turkish government claims that his Apple Watch recorded his murder without any corroborating evidence to prove that claim, and that the media in the US is doing its normal panel discussions to discuss and explain exactly in detail that they have no ****ing idea at all what actually happened.

So yeah, unsubstantiated, all the way around.

I'm expecting the Saudis to produce two dead bodies and say they've caught the killers of Khashoggi, but they died in the shootout and it's unknown what they did with the body of Khashoggi. Then I'm expecting Trump to compliment the Saudis on their fast action in solving the case. Bullcrap extraordinaire from masters of the art.
