Chief Justice Roberts Requests Tenth Circuit To Investigate Kavanaugh Ethics Questions

https://www.forbes.com/sites/steved..._medium=social&utm_term=Valerie/#76616c657269

While the Republican leadership celebrates the seating of Brett Kavanaugh as a Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, Chief Justice Roberts yesterday requested the Tenth Circuit to review more than twelve ethics complaints that have been made against Kavanaugh. The complaints concern Kavanaugh’s behavior at the Senate Judiciary Committee on September 27.

Interesting twist...
It seems reasonable that the Chief Justice would call for an investigation of every appointee.

It also seems predictable that the media, being left biased, would only sensationalize the standard investigation of a right-leaning appointee.

Has he called for investigations of left leaning Justices?

Do you think Clarence Thomas makes his decisions objectively?

Thomas doesn’t do much writing for the Court and he’s usually a wallflower during oral arguments. He tends to keep his thoughts to himself so it’s hard to say.

He does seem to take a more passive approach in this writing.

Stupid ****ing leftists.

Roberts referred the ethics complaints MADE by stupid ****ing leftists...

Stupid ****ing leftists.

Anyone doing a basic read of any of the MANY articles written on this will understand that there were ethics complaints made by stupid ****ing leftists about Kavanaughs testimony where he lashed BACK at the ****ing mindless hate

This is the kind of **** we can expect from stupid ****ing leftists now, and if they win a majority in the House (a very real possibility because there are just so many stupid ****ing leftists these days) its what you can expect from your government. THAT is precisely what the stupid ****ing leftists are voting for. They are voting for their pouty pathetic stupid ****ing leftist hatred.

This is going no where, because the stupid ****ing leftists...

So the same people who think all the bias displayed by the fbi is not evidence of a tainted investigation because they say it's reasonable to assume that they can separate their personal feel feelings from their professional responsibilities. They are now arguing that Kavanaugh can not be an unbiased judge based on his personal feelings about the motive behind obstructing his nomination.

Roberts referred the ethics complaints MADE by stupid ****ing leftists to the 10th because a-he cant just dismiss them and b-Garland recused himself. Or did you not read that part?

So again....

Stupid ****ing leftists.

It's interesting because the Left believes that balance of power is now favoring conservatives, but it's just not because Roberts is certainly not one. I'm not saying this because he wants an investigation into Kavanaugh. This guy saved Obamacare and other Leftist policies, along with some conservative ones. In my opinion, Roberts is a moderate. The way SCOTUS looks right now is the following: 4 conservatives, 1 moderate (or Leftist, depending on what Roberts is identifying as that day), and 4 Leftists. There's no doubt Kavanaugh is far more conservative than Kennedy in every way imaginable and will have an impact in some areas, but overall, the balance of power within SCOTUS has NOT had a huge swing. Now, if Ginsberg, 85 years old, goes during Trump's administration, THEN we can talk about SCOTUS having a big shift. Even greater yet would be if, for whatever the reason, Justice Breyer, 80 years old, retired during one of Trump's terms. We know Trump has a list of constitutional conservatives on his list, so it would be a big deal if one or two Justices retired and the spot(s) were filled by with a person(s) from that list.

My guess will be if one of those Justices stepped down, judge Amy Coney Barrett, I'm betting, will be next. If she is, the hysteria and craziness over Kavanaugh from the Democrats and the rest of Left wing nut cases will seem like foreplay compared to what they have planned for this woman (which the Left claims to be the champion of women and claims that all women need to be believed). I'm not exaggerating that, either. Look at what they did to Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann, Condalisa Rice, Juanita Broaddrick, Laura Ingraham, Dana Loesch, Candace Owens, Melania Trump, Ivanka Trump,Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Ann Coulter, Kirstjen Nielsen, Nikki Haley, Kellyanne Conway (who is a rape victim), and many others. They make stories, call them all sorts of names, and, many on the Left, want these women to be raped by either a single person or gang raped. To say the Left is the protector of women and their rights is like saying Hitler loved Jews. But to bring it back to the topic at hand, this whole Kavanaugh thing is just the beginning and it WILL get worse as time goes on with him and anyone else Trump or the Republicans get behind.

What I read was that AMy Barret was the preferred choice but was kept on deck for if/when RBG either steps down or is unable to continue. Then it will be a woman with a strong judicial record replacing a woman with a strong judicial record and who could complain about that?

Heh....

Thomas could always be next as well...he is looking rough. Ginsberg and Breyer if they go and Democrats hold the Senate, Trump is screwed

So did he ask to have Senator Feinstein ethical lapse investigated?

According to some media outlets Thomas has already made noises about retirement. But his wife says that is bogus.

So instead, we should believe that the FBI is biased, but a political appointee is not?

Actually, I just find it funny that the same people talk about civility and raise a ruckus whenever someone expresses an opinion to the their left.

How very tribal of you to say so.

images

that's really humorous as well as Ironic given your well known blatant partisanship.

So did he ask to have Senator Feinstein ethical lapse investigated?

Why shouldn't it be?

But lets be honest what upsets about Feinstein is she isn't just letting Trump have his way.

If there is evidence of it affecting either of their work appropriate action should be taken. I have not seen anything that Kavanagh has done to support your concern. The FBI is currently being investigated to determine if their bias affected their work. from my perspective there is a distinct possibility that the FBI is compromised but I'm content to reserve my judgement until we get all the information needed.

It's the Glass House Group.

I didn't say I necessarily had concerns, but he did work for Ken Starr and the Bush Administration. The second one is definitely partisan.

Hey! If I may jump in and make a comment.

You bring up a really REALLY good point that I wanted to ask.

You are 100% Kavanaugh is a Republican appointee. Worked PRIOR for a Republican President. presided over conservative cases.

Lets face it..... if you work for the Government, You are either GOING to work for a Democrat controlled Government or a Republican controlled Government correct?

Kavanaugh while working in the capacity of the adviser to BUSH it was to provide conservative judgments Right? I mean thats pretty much assumed. THAT was his job, like it or not if he did NOT like the views of BUSH he would have resigned. Does that make HIM partisan? By optics it could.

NOW fast forward 300+ opinions written, 10 years on the appeals circuit (stay with me) Are his judgement when in a capacity of a NON partisan position like the DC Circuit of appeals to be BIAS and or conservative. Or lack there of fair interpretation of the law?

JUST because he worked for a republican and was nominated by a republican does NOT make him disqualified to make fair NON biased decisions as a Supreme court justice. By his merits and his track record of actions should dictate his ability.

Here is a more broad visual answer. I was in the Military for 10 years I followed all lawful orders given to me by my commanders (STAY WITH ME) Now I am out of the military and in a private business some of the decisions I made during the Military, I do NOT agree with and would NOT continue those through my civilian life. I AM NOT by any means bound or stuck to those beliefs JUST because I served them in my past. So why should I be criticized NOW, for doing my job willfully & lawfully in the past.

Do we NOT judge someone for the merits and actual ability? I thought that was the point of working hard UP to the position, NOT to be intentionally dragged down because you do NOT agree with their affiliation.

I'll be honest. What upsets about Feinstein is that she sat on a set of facts that demanded investigation, yet she held them to use for partisan politics. The liberals knew there was nothing that Kavenaugh had done that would undo his nomination, but they just needed it delayed. It is an ethical failure on the part of a liberal senator that no liberal wants to address.
Why shouldn't it be?

But lets be honest what upsets about Feinstein is she isn't just letting Trump have his way.

She a Senator, and she appears to lack ethics.

Yeah I did Not realize ONLY supreme court justice nominees were limited to being investigated for "ethics"

I though there or OPR's in the FBI, and other government entities that review ethics performance.

While Feinstein did do anything.... well.... she DIDnt do anything...... seems like an ETHICAL question to me......
