    Automatically.

    It's a key part.

I mean, in Florida you can get your voting rights reinstated but only if you go before a board who can decide one way or the other depending on how they feel that day, there are no guidelines or any such.

Even if you've been out of jail for decades and done nothing wrong in the time since.

It's a ****ed up system that needs fixed.

Ya and I have recently gotten interested in the examination of the lefts bedrock conviction that the members of the imported in the service of the journey to UTOPIA rainbow will stay loyal to them, in spite of their performance.

Sadly this will never happen. Republicans want to be seen as tough on crime and Democrats aren't about to allow more people to own a firearm. I suspect this move is nothing more than politics and believing it would help garner more votes for them, if it were about actually restoring the rights of a citizen then it would be for ALL of their rights. I hope I am proven wrong though.

Because once upon a time Florida was a slave state, and most felonies were charged against former slaves, blacks. Not allowing felons to vote was an excellent way to keep blacks from having any role in elections.

I've always viewed it as legislation that is an extrajudicial life sentence of sorts.

Wel i'm glad that the Party of Racisim (RNC) are admitting as much now with their full throttled hope of bolstering Jim Crow laws. (No I don't think the RNC is the party of racism but you want to play your stupid games and I'm playing by your idiotic rules.)

    Then diverting to MS-13? Desperate.

The truth of this statement being how badly you want to micro-target people to suppress the vote in order to maintain power.

Glad I could make you smile. Don't know how I did but, you're welcome.

Somehow I don't think that Flynn, Papadopoulos, Gates, Manafort, Cohen, or any of the Trumps are going to vote for Democrats. Nor the four convicted felons that the GOP ran for congress this year, Arpaio, Blankenship, Grimm, ahd Gianforte. Then we have Duncan Hunter and his wife being indicted on campaign finance violations a few weeks ago.

But having completely missed the point.... Once someone serves their debt to society they should be able to rejoin it. Determining which rights a person should have based on who you think it helps politically is deplorable.

I've stated the same. Once someone has completed their punishment, the full of their rights should be recognized once again.
You know the time is right to take control, we gotta take offense against the status quo
