Former New York Democratic congressman Anthony Weiner is scheduled to be released from prison three months shy of serving his full 21-month sentence, according to federal Bureau of Prison records.

Weiner was sentenced in October 2017 to 21 months in federal prison after he pleaded guilty in May of that year to sending obscene material to a 15-year old girl. Weiner began his sentence at the Federal Medical Center Devens — a prison in Massachusetts for men requiring long-term medical or mental health care — on Nov. 6, 2017. Though he was initially slated to be released on Aug. 5, 2019, prison records indicate the 54-year-old is now scheduled to be released 83 days early, on May 14, 2019.

They had concrete proof that Weiner had done something. In the case of Kavanuagh, you didn't. So you lose. Get over it.

Despite the never ending opportunities for low grade humor Weiner, his "crime" was not so heinous as it was made out to be. A bit of waving his personal flag at underage girls on the net, who were mature enough to be playing the same game in our sex obsessed faux prudish culture. Basically he was flirting, behind his wife's back, and Hilary's back, somehow providing an undertone that he betrayed Hilary :eek: Hil and her cohorts at the party office of strategic command, demanded his head, his divorce, from both the party and the mother of his child, Hilary's loyal dog.

Nope he wasn't a sex monster. He wasn't physically assaulting or raping women, men, children or small donkeys. Just showing off a clothed package. And in turn betraying the people of NYC who were about to elect him as Mayor. Instead of a do nothing legislator who was the chosen of the nursing home set of politicians, and left us with a phony, last man sanding, progressive, bumbling nepotistic and corrupt substitute in egotistical and vane presidential hopeful Bill "I build bicycle lanes" DeBlazioopsa. No one uses the bicycle lanes in the other boroughs, but they are inhibiting traffic and small businesses dependent on the now missing parking spaces for their customers. A mayor helping he small middle class businessman or woman in the name of progressive socialism. Not even a real NYer who eats pizza with a knife and fork. That was a heinous crime on Anthony's part.

Alright, he's getting a few months off for good behavior, and told the sentencing judge he was sick man, got himself a shrink and therapy sessions, give him a break. His political career is over, his marriage is a disaster, but out of the limelight despite Hilary. Punishment enough to have known her as so influential on his marriage. I hope he gets a decent middle class job, keeps his family together, enjoys another child in his married life and stays out of politics and the media.

We've all witnessed others who did far worse, and suffered far less.

Yep. Point being that he wasn't mocked until actually convicted. The same should have held true for Kavanaugh but people are notoriously fickle, partisan and sometimes just stupid.
