IF HE KNEW...… unless there is evidence, once again, that he knew. Not rumors, not assumptions, evidence that he knew.

There's no real evidence, unless you think it's ok to launch a criminal investigation based nothing more than an unsubstantiated accusation. That's Jim Crow ****, right there. Is that what you want The United States to look like?

He's now locked his twitter account after posting that they will only disclose the allegation details when the accuser is ready.

On a side note, Geraldo lives nearby in Shaker Heights and just got a 1 hour local talk show on WTAM. And yes, I watched the Capone debacle.

Well, I don't have much respect for Kavanaugh, Trump, or the Republican party in general. But those are very serious charges, and as such, I need a lot more evidence than statements from a sleazy lawyer. He does seem to have the ability to back up his claims, but the serious of this raises the bar for the reliability of the evidence.

Trump needs Kavanaugh to be his SCOTUS firewall against indictment & ultimate impeachment. The Republicans will make sure he gets Kavanaugh.

It will be hard to prove as true, so I wouldn't count on any of that.

The SCOTUS can't stop or change or effect an Impeachment in any way. That is the Constitutional plenary power of the Congress. The only role the SCOTUS plays is that the Chief Justice presides over the Senate's trial after the House Impeaches the President, and that is only regarding procedural events, not anything else.

This is NOT a federal case, it would be handled by local law enforcement. The FBI has done it's background checks and found... nothing.

Irrelevant. The FBI is in charge of all background investigations and they could easily reopen the background check for this.

Roy Moore evidence didn't make a difference for most of the GOP, Trump, and GOP voters in Alabama. Only reason why he (barely) lost was because of record black turn out for Jones (higher than Obama levels in 2008 and 2012), and because of independent voters.

Also, it's not like Kavanaugh was just picked off the street to be nominated to the SCOTUS. He has had an extensive career in high courts so it's does make you question why now.

Dems won't impeach Trump because then Pence will simply pardon him of everything. Take congress - ride it out - then bring charges against a former president with a president who won't pardon him.

Also there is probably a good chance that after the Republicans are done using Trump to get their nominees they will turn on him to get back in public favor.

I'm not counting on much, and quite frankly, I don't want the guy to lose his family. That being said, if this is true, he has no place interpreting legislation for the next 30 years that could affect millions.

Exactly what I think will happen. Many of them are probably just as mortified as the rest of us, but they need that rubber stamp.
