Rosenstein Suggested He Secretly Record Trump and Discussed 25th Amendment

Yup. Trump hates the Times, but the news has just broke about how much Cohen has been singing to Mueller, esp. about the Trump kid's business dealing in Russia, AND it's just been announced that Mueller is investigating very large sums of money being transfered at the time of the infamous meeting in Trump Tower.

An interesting variation on the "Schrodinger's Cat" paradox is "IF 'Person A' says 'X' to 'Person B' and 'Person B' accepts it as true, what will 'Person B' say if that same "Person A' says that same 'X' to 'Person C'?". IOW, does the truth or falseness of 'X' depend on whether it is said to 'Person B' or to 'Person C'?.

THat is the funny thing about that story that I already pointed out. Rosenstein denies the exchange and attacks the claim as "anonymous claims" when it isn't, and the WaPo article supports Rosenstein's claim using... anonymous sources.

Here is the thing that is weird about that beyond the obvious irony: Why would someone need to be anonymous for that refutation?
To avoid political reprisal.

Still lots of speculation into what this whole Rosenstein thing is all about. Nobody knows the facts. But I just heard an interesting take that makes more sense than most of the other stuff people have come up with.

Start at 4:30

What Lee Smith is saying is that Rosenstein is trying to protect the DOJ and FBI and McCabe is trying to protect himself...even if it means throwing Rosenstein under the bus.
