Yeah, that's completely obvious. And a low class move by her as well. She's apparently just another right wing hack, who plays the role of centrist.
I got sick of her act during the healthcare debates. She played like she was open to vote yes if her 'concerns' were addressed, they were or were offered to be and she still wouldn't vote yes. So it was a BS act. Same thing is happening here it seems. She likes the attention I guess.
Collins is my gal in the Senate, sad to say.
I left a message, it had my name and address and I said please don't vote for Kavanaugh.
As others have said, she plays at being a moderate, but when it comes time to vote, she'll sell you down the river. I expect she'll vote for kavanaugh, unless there is too much political heat.
So, while I deplore the intemperate comments, I like the heat.
What is missing in this conversation is what it means if Kavanaugh gets on the SC. It would be too many kooks. He's a hardcore political operative, and that means he lacks the judicial temperament that you want in a justice on the Supreme Court.
Republicans would run her out of town for an act of defiance, imo.
She will be gone in 2020.
