Jamie Dimon just said what lots and lots of CEOs think about Donald Trump

I shudder to think that Trump's horrible presidency is some sort of challenge to other oligarchs who want to toss their fascist hats in the ring. It doesn't take much to be tougher, smarter or more competent than Trump. Our standard for our leaders should also include some human component as well, which all of these money lenders are lacking.

Why do you think you need a "leader?" Can you not think and act for yourself?

Har!! I'm no genius, trust me...that's how simple the problem is, even an IDIOT like me can see it.

People from the Tri-State Area (NY-NJ-CT) have known Trump was a crook since the late 1970's.
People in the heartland like to think that they can spot a city slicker con man.
Trump is the ultimate city slicker con man and he sailed right over the heads of all the nice people in the heartland .
And now their PRIDE won't allow them to admit that they got conned.
But they should comfort themselves in the knowledge that they got taken by the BEST.
Give Trump credit, he IS the BEST, the SLICKEST.
Snort again.
Same here - even an idiot like me was smart enough to see through his constant bull**** and not vote for him.

Why do you think you need a "leader?" Can you not think and act for yourself?

Seriously!?
Leaders are required in most situations.
It ain't rocket science.

Hint: even a Cub Scout pack has a leader.

You didn't answer the question. I don't think, feel, believe, or know that I need one. What is the difference between you and I?

Go get him, Jamie!

while I don't doubt Jamie is smarter than trump (there are entire elementary schools smarter than trump) but what Jamie doesn't get is it wasn't smarts that got trump elected. It simply took telling the entitled angry ignorant conservative base
what they wanted to hear. heaven help any republican that has the slightest shred of integrity.

Is that different from other entrepreneurs and business owners?

Depends on whether or not we're talking about mom and pop business owners, or CEOs of very large, very powerful corporations. No, I wouldn't compare the gas-station owner down the street with Wall St. bankers, but when it comes to business owners with real power, power to buy elections, power to control large portions of a market—that comparison isn't inappropriate.

I see these entities as inherently at odds with the interests of the rest of the country.

Just more of the same... Slime President Trump when you can!

When you're a giant swamp creature, there's going to be a lot of slime around. It goes with the territory.

even for a crook like Dimon, Trump has gone round the bend and he's making other crooks look bad.

Oh lord, thanks for the chuckle, definite LOL there. That's how bad it's gotten in the USA, I shouldn't be laughing, but damn....

That really eats your insides doesn't it? Somebody was given something and it wasn't you.

I know this wasn't directed at me, but who the hell would want to live like Trump? Reviled and mocked around the world. Unable to control your emotions, acting like a nine year old girl most of the time. Ignorant and too lazy to learn. Bereft of normal human emotions like empathy. All your "friends" are taping their conversations with you because they know you're a slimy flimflam man.

No thanks!

Thing is, I know that for myself and most people, it's not like I or anyone is expecting perfect 100% honest people and I am not expecting everyone to suddenly go "Oh we are SO SORRY, you liberals are 100 percent right on everything!!"

No no, it ain't like that, and it isn't like I am filled with HATRED because some people have conservative views or because some people want conservative government.
Let me make something clear: I am a grownup and I subscribe to the The Rolling Stones comment "You can't always get what you want".

I GET IT.
Okay?

And I get that liberals and conservatives are always going to tussle, too.
And even THAT doesn't make me hate you con-tards?
Okay?
I get it.

I can be friends with con-tards so you con-tards should be able to be friends with lib-tards like me, too.
Okay?

This is about Trump is NUCKING FUTZ, he is out of his goddamn mind.
He's dangerous. That means he is dangerous to you guys, too.
He's dangerous to all of us.

You'd rather sit around with your hands in your pockets boohooing about how life has dealt you ****ty cards? That's pretty damn weak.

So a horrible Presidency is one that has created over 4 million jobs, increased full time employment, grown full time employment, has more than doubled the GDP Growth left by Obama, given taxpayers more spendable income thru tax cuts. Is it possible that you don't have a clue as to what is really going on in this country being blinded by hatred for the Trump rhetoric?

You think I only have two choices in life, act like a spoiled 9 year old girl, or sit around boohooing?

You need to get out more. Seriously.

That's pretty damn weak.

No kidding. Thinking those are your only two options in life. SMH.

I think it's just a matter of scale. There are plenty of small business owners that rip off their customers. And plenty that don't. Similar thing applies to founders and shareholders of large companies (including CEOs that often own a large enough piece of the company).

In ALL cases however, they all CARE very much about increasing shareholder value, i.e. profits of their respective companies, no matter whether large or small. You can see how "greed" will be part of that, no matter what you do.

One might argue that smaller business owners would care even MORE about it because
(a) utility of wealth diminishes after a certain point (e.g. small business owner would care much more about first 100k their business makes than next 100k)
(b) CEOs own sometimes much smaller piece of the pie and in cases like CEOs of large corporations don't HAVE to have a job, financially speaking.

If your understood the crash of 2008, and the cause and impact of derivatives, you would have not asked that question.

So you blame all bankers (or even MOST, or even MANY) for 2008?

Give me a break... If you understood the crash of 2008, you'd know there is plenty of blame to go around. Sure, some of it is on SOME of the bankers, new financial instruments (which in fact have a great real purpose but were NOT regulated) and simply greed. But there is plenty of blame on other parties too, including government (Bush policies most, but also some of Clinton policies too and the Fed sleeping at the wheel), and even the people themselves who were buying homes they could not afford.

In any case though, in EACH industry out there, there are plenty of bad apples that mess things up and by that measure, you'd be hating ALL professions just as well.

Obviously your reading comprehension is low.
Show me where I said 'all'.
I'll wait patiently with a big, big smile.
Now Go

Obviously your reading comprehension is low.

What's wrong with being a banker, again?

If your understood the crash of 2008, and the cause and impact of derivatives, you would have not asked that question.

You claimed that 2008 crash answers the question of what's wrong with being a banker. "A banker", in general.

It's cute how you constantly make assumptions without any facts.

I did not make any assumptions. It was a simple and clear exchange.

Stop being a taker and become a maker.

Lehman Brothers took the lead in the 08 crash, and they ain't grocers.

Nothing like the status quo and scared cows in D.C., right? let's not make any changes, let's not put America first, Let's not hold people accountable for results, let's make sure the establishment survives which seems to be the goal of the radical left who would support an article written by one of the Establishment CEO's. this just goes to show that no matter who the individual is if it is against Trump it has credibility.

I voted for change in D.C., I voted for the results we are generating today, and I support the changes being made and the results reflected from those changes. The status quo establishment members of both parties and the radical left doesn't like it, but the sacred cows are being slained

That's just pathetic.

Take away Trump's checkbook through life and he is left with zero personal power. This is why he seeks to take credit where credit is not due, exaggerates economic and military trends to his personal glory, embarrassingly seeks to look strong in front of international strongmen, and lashes out like a child when the world doesn't look away from his spoiled-brat behavior. He lacks integrity, honor, leadership, and true strength.

And this is the man who "represents" America? Pathetic.
