Donald Trump cancels Ireland trip after massive protests planned throughout Dublin

Deep down, most of his supporters know Trump is a POS. Its like they are emotionally invested in the man, and to admit it would cause them to loose face. I critisized Obama plenty, and I was scathing of Hilldogs lies, no one is above criticism. Why are his supporters so thick headed, perhaps to admit the man is a POS is some sort of defeat to the otherside, but it smells cult like in a Jim Jones way.

It is cult like. Trump tells them to give up their favorite pastime, and they obey.

" Out of step " in that we refuse to participate in the largest ( and longest ) collective temper tantrum in history ?? This happened under Bush, and under Reagan to a degree, so what are right of center Americans supposed to do ? Elect Democrats from now on so the rest of the world will respect us again ? Thats not going to happen, so why doesn't the rest of the world just learn to accept the results of the 2016 election ?

There is no reason why anyone is obligated to respect a draft dodger who declared that avoiding STDs was “his Vietnam” and attacked POWs.

Obama spied on our allies, spied on German media and their Govt, so I dont want to hear how Trump has caused the US to lose all respect with our Allies. If those protesters weren't outraged when the US Govt was spying on their leaders and media, then ****'em

None of which is an excuse for what Trump did.

I see you have mastered the art of redundancy since the Germans are our allies and have been for decades.

Hate to break it to you but they were outraged. There was rather large outcry. But guess what? Obama stopped being president and people moved on. That you are unable to just shows how weak an individual Trump is—-his supporters are still desperately clinging at straws from the last presidency in a futile attempt to deflect the attention off him.

What exactly did Trump do ?? If your'e referring to him asking our NATO allies to pitch in their fair share then he was not only in the right, he was following Obama's example....

Its one time I actually agreed with Obama. Our NATO allies have been taking full advantage of US defense spending since 1949, and now they can't even meet their 2% agreed upon spending targets.

Someone is lying to you. Here's something to help you from a reputable source:

New study finds 45,000 deaths annually linked to lack of health coverage
I suspect you and those desperate to push the socialized medicine may being lying to yourselves.

Privatized Healthcare has its pros and cons as does a socialized system. People die in both systems. Claiming it's much more frequent in one system than the other is partisan propaganda.

I have asked in past debates for evidence that less people are dying after ACCA passed but none was ever provided. I would think there should be empirical data to support these claims of socialized medicine having less fatalities associated to it.

Your Havard link attempts to take my question on from an opposite approach. Claiming more people die from privatized Healthcare but it fails to offer any empirical data.

Something that is noticeably absent in these debates is how much the universities charge people to become a doctor. We here the left decry that the government should foot the bill but I never hear the left complain about a school like havard charging med students $60K tuition per year, plus other costs. How much do you think doctors have to charge to recuperate their $250k? Investment? Seems to me the left should be upset about this but strangely I don't hear complaints about this.

A yow the debate about socialized medicine and private medicine deserves it's own thread

Gee bud, among a laundry list of other things, he attacked POWs.......yet he dodged the draft in the first place, and said that avoiding STDs was “my Vietnam”.

Lol yeah, all those Dutchmen and Italians(among many others) who went to Afghanistan over an attack on the US must just not be doing their share, right?

when we visited England in 2017, he had not yet really pissed off our allies, but multiple extended conversations with residents ended up with me having to explain that i didn't vote for the idiot. i can only imagine what it's like now.

Welcome to the club. As an expat I had to deal with this all the time. It started with George W Bush- everyone would come up to me and bash me simply because I'm American (I didnt even vote for him, nor did I vote for Obama, or Trump). And it's been nonstop explanations ever since. There were times I just lost it and defended the POTUS, no matter who he was because I was so sick of the sanctimonious preaching.

Speaking as a fellow American living outside the US, it's obvious that the only people on the planet that don't have a horrible opinion of Trump are his supporters in the US. The rest of the world is appalled and trusts the US to lead the world less and less every day. Our credibility has taken a major hit after this circus.

Anecdotal and unconvincing. Brexit...Khan balloon...

yeah, that would get annoying. the people i hung out with in a London pub were cool, though. it was interesting to talk about health care and other topics and get an unfiltered international perspective. also, sitting with a bunch of people for hours and drinking too much in a pub on the other side of the Atlantic ocean on our first evening in England was pretty awesome.

I believe it's a study published in pere-reviewed journal. If it's incorrect, go refute it. And please post your refutation, I'll be interested in see it.

This is more fitting. Our President is no longer the chief capitulator.

LOL, now he's more of a laughing stock lapdog, and we don't need to do any photoshopping, it's all right there on video. Or did you miss Helsinki?

Funny how reality has a liberal bias eh?
