WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Donald Trump has ordered that $25 million earmarked for the care of Palestinians in East Jerusalem hospitals be directed elsewhere as part of a review of American aid, a U.S. State Department official said on Saturday.

Trump called for a review of U.S. assistance to the Palestinians earlier this year to ensure the funds were being spent in accordance with American national interests and were providing value to taxpayers.

Not a move toward peace any time soon in the Israel-Palestine mess. The only thing this move seems to be good for is increased arms sales to Israel.

Peace? Nothing this administration does is about peace. Everything is about division and promoting partisan agitation.

Is Trump gonna use the $25 million to recoup the money he lost in the Trump University lawsuit?

What would be a move toward peace? Increasing the aid?
At some point the Palestinian leadership is going to need to accept the existence of Israel. Wont be any peace for so long as they remain in denial.

Hopefully all that money is redirected back to the US, we have enough problems to take care of here. We have an ever increasing debt and yet constantly sending money to other countries, it makes no sense whatsoever.

As for this being a "direct aggression against the Palestinian people", the Palestinian Foreign Ministry can go F*** themselves. I hate to use such language but it is absolutely ridiculous to consider this an act of aggression because the US decided not to send them money. They are not entitled to US taxpayer money. They should be happy for the aid that has already been recieved, to act this way shows just how ungrateful they are.

Division. It's Trump's lifeblood.
