As usual you ate less than fully informed. Lanny Davis was not his only source and the question of whether Trump knew about the meeting beforehand remains an open one.

Talk about being less informed. Carl Bernstein said Lanny Davis was NOT a source for the Trump Tower fake news story he wrote.
And let's say there was another source ( there obviously wasn't ), don't you think they would have stepped forward by now ?

Well, maybe not fighting words, to be exact. Trump's comment about Sessions appears to have Republicans in a tight spot. On one hand they can't overtly come out against Trump seeing as he's the face of the Republican Party, and his endorsement virtually assures victory for the Republican primary candidate. But on the other hand they can't just stand by and let the President insult their entire constituencies without saying something.

Then, the Partisan GOP Supreme Court of Rehnquist voted for Bush-43, giving us Alito and Roberts.

Mitch continued this in 2005, Threatening HIS Nuclear Trigger if Dashchle didn’t back down from his filibuster.

McConnell went full Judiciary Traitor in 2013, blocking all Obama Appointments to District and Appeals. Mitch never got over being wrong about that ‘one-term’ thing.

Reid proceeeded with McConnell’s Nuclear Trigger in late 2013. McConnell blocked everything Obama after another disastrous mid-term of 2014. No meetings or hearings for Garland. Liars about the ‘Biden Rule’.

Now we have an illegitimate president with two illegitimate picks on the USSC. McConnell won; America lost.

McConnell will be known as the great bastardizer of our Constitution, the one who permanently destroyed our politics.
