Lone holdout on Manafort jury blocked conviction on all counts, juror says

https://www.washingtonpost.com/worl...ocked-conviction-on-all-counts-juror-says/201

Do you expect the one juror who supposedly hung the jury on 10 of the 18 counts to face mayhem?

People need to leave this lone juror alone. In the end, stupid as she apparently is, she did her duty as a citizen.

But the population should be concerned that this lone juror was obviously placing her partisan stupidity ahead of nation and morality. For her, this was apparently about a personal defense of a demagogue in the White House. As such, the rest of the mindless loyalists running around the country should take time to reflect upon themselves on how eager they are to excuse, forgive, and even avoid issues in order to cling to a pathetic personal need to scheme up ways to continue their blind allegiance to a man who deserves absolutely none of it.

Personally, my hunch is that the hold out was actually her.

MAGA hat? Witch hunt? Come on people, it's right there.

Funny! Not likely. No way to funnel enough hush money to the other 11 jurors. Surely, some of the other jurors would expose her.

Wasn't the juror who gave the interview with Bream who voted guilty on all counts? She told of one juror holdout on ten counts. She said she was a Trump supporter and planned to vote for him in 2020. She also stated that she was so hoping Manafort was not guilty but the evidence was overwhelming. She pretty much thought Gates was a lowlife and felt that if Manafort did not have any ties to Trump he probably would not have been prosecuted so severely.

IMO, Trump's understanding of the psychology of the masses (in the manner of a charismatic religious leader) enabled him to become POTUS. He reminds me of the way some elite athletes use PEDs. Once exposed, pressure mounts to take away their accolades.

And this just indicates the hypocrisy.

1) When Mueller finishes up and his report comes out not indicting the president or recommending impeachment. X people will scream that its partisan blah blah blah Trump supporter
2) When Mueller finishes up and his report recommend indictments yet it would need to go to court the same people above will scream guilty when Trump is NOT even found guilty in court

Its all partisan and the sad part is even the same people use disrespectful and incendiary terms, like asshat trumpanzee..... you were not sitting in the court and again by respect to being there "Reasonable doubt" period. The person agreed on 8 but not 10 meaning that there was potential reasonable doubt. What if the 11 where Partisan and just wanted to see Manafort burn without respect to justice..... Because they voted on your beliefs they were right and held no bias or partisanship...... But of course you CANNOT and WONT admit this potentiality.. .....

He exploited the FOX News-instigated hate and bitterness that built an irrational base since the imagined birth certificate crisis; and fumbled into the White House. Hillary Clinton, as the alternative, actually helped the idiot and his moronic loyalists to power. For this they insecurely, and pathetically, think themselves as political champions as Orange Leader wrecks American influence in every region on the planet and plays celebrity games with Twitter as an escape for his feelings from one issue to the next.

That would be some award winning trolling, I like the way you think.
At this point can you say you'd expect anything less from the MAGA cult at this point?

:applaud

Not really. He was still convicted on 8. I seriously don't understand how a person can be willing to go along with 8 counts, and then convince themselves there's a chance he didn't really commit the other 10.

Lack of evidence probably, like in every other case.
