There seems to be a question to his status. One group says legal others say illegal.

I suspect he was legal at one time but either overstayed or violated his visa changing his status back to illegal. But that's just my guess

Still waiting on confirmation, I "actually" read it.

1) Defense Attorney has issued a Gag order, as it would not allow him a fair trial, becuase of the news spread
2) Defense Attorney says he is legal, But we DONT know that, that just what the defense attorney said. ICE and Immigration has NOT responded yet..


So its a defense stance, but how about we wait till USCIS confirms his status then we can make that judgement?



Any Nothing burger? Honestly....... that just disrespectful to the loss of life.... no matter if this person was legal or Not it was a heinous crime that IS important and should spark questions about legal migration and vetting vs illegal.....

I am not going to use the word Hate, But I will say that I do NOT like ILLEGAL immigrants. They break our laws, they circumvent our laws, they abuse our laws..... so yes..... I am NOT a fan of ILLEGALS. Now explain to me why "Illegal" immigrants are preferred or ok with you?

Funny cant answer the question.... Do you or do you not Accept "ILLEGAL" immigrants, those that break, bypass, loophole, circumvent our current immigration laws.

I HAVE accepted that ALL political parties will try to use anything to politicize an issue, BUT it still does NOT solve the issue, that illegal people are breaking our laws PERIOD...politicizing a case does what? Nothing... this crap needs to be settled by congress and FAST....

I don't presume to speak for him, but they do help out family-owned farms run by prominent Republicans (or babysit for Democrats) on occasion.

Is this legal and the right thing to do...... and acceptable in your book... that farms owned by Republicans hire illegal immigrants or baby sitters and cut lawns for Democrats.

Again Illegal Immigration is Illegal immigration..... justifying with farm workers and baby sitters is not a "Justification"......

No, but there is an economic incentive to employ these people because 1) they're available and 2) they generally cost less to employ than legal immigrants or citizens. We can put a dent in the problem by increasing the costs of hiring them (say, by increasing criminal penalties), but we'll have to defy the laws of economics to eradicate it. That's just the reality. Maybe we should just stop growing stuff and buy it all from Mexico? Would you favor that solution? Either that or increase legal immigration, eh?

Economics surely dictate the labor force I can agree.

But that being said.... is it not internal responsibilities as well. LUXURIES have increased. Americans have become elites and refused to do things "beneath" them also living outside of their means has cause the demand for higher wages and the demand for starting $50k a year salaries with benefits.

Look in the mirror first before we just make excuses..... Our luxuries and selfish needs have created this monster.....

Well the question I have is, does anybody actually believe that if there were 55 Republican Senators instead of 51, this murder wouldn't have happened.
